quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

My toothbrush quit working within a few weeks of purchasing. When I contacted the company I had to send a picture of my toothbrush. They would not replace the toothbrush or give me a refund. I was very disappointed.

Quip does the job, well thoughtout design. I recommend
I love Quip for a travel toothbrush. The vibration isn’t very effective for removing plaque as a whole but I do keep a Quip toothbrush in my travel toiletry bag.
I have just started using the quip toothbrush a few weeks ago. Good toothbrush so far, interesting to see how durable the bristles are and how they continue to wear as used
I like the Quip concept and overall feel, but their products fall flat for me. I’ve had several toothbrushes and a water flosser, and everything just eventually dies for me. With no chance of revival. The flosser just stopped charging after a few months of use. For what I got, I’d feel better about splurging on these products for better quality.
Nice
My quip was a gateway to electric toothbrushing, which I'm grateful for. However, it broke the first time I tried to change the battery. It was not worth it, and I moved on to a rechargeable Sonicare electric toothbrush which I love.
Nice tootbrush
Purchased my quip from my local grocery store and have been generally loving it! I like the vibrations to alert you on time spent brushing as well as the easy subscription management for new brush heads, (although the actual changing of a brush head is harder than I anticipated) However, the main drawback for me is that I mounted mine to my mirror, but it doesn’t seem as though I can use the mount as a travel cover now. It’s marketed as being mountable and travel friendly, but seems to me it’s one or the other.
cute toothbrush
Love this toothbrush! Super sleek style and I love the no charger aspect
I use this toothbrush for about three years before I discovered that Manuel toothbrushes are just better. Unfortunately, only the brush itself vibrates which creates a secondary effective vibration in the bristles so it’s not really cleaning much better than just manually brushing the designs are cool and they’re packaging and subscription services is awesome and so is there toothbrush holder that doubles as a carrying case but that’s about it
My husband and I have both used quip's toothbrush for the majority of 2023, and generally have been happy with the product, including battery life, design, etc. I was gifted a competitive electric toothbrush at a much higher price point over the holidays, and unfortunately, it's putting my quip to shame from a cleanliness standpoint. I would say quip is a step up from a standard toothbrush, but can't compete with oral b, or sonicare when it comes to that fresh from the dentist mouthfeel.

A great idea, but the toothbrush falls apart. It can be put back together, but the toothbrush needs work. I also have the water pick which i love. I highly recommend it.
Cool packaging and form factor. So great if you love design. No advantage over an ordinary toothbrush.
Great customer service but I've had multiple toothbrush issues. They always replace it and make it right, but it's frustrating how often the toothbrush quits working.
Great toothbrush and the automatic replacements are great! Toothpaste is just ok. Amazing customer service when my quip broke, they sent a replacement which got lost in the mail, and then quickly sent me another when I didn't receive the first. Love that you don't have to charge it!
My toothbrush died after about a year. My dental hygienist recommended against this toothbrush as well, stating it does not clean better than manual.

Love my Quip! It makes tooth brushing easy and enjoyable. Love the two minute feature and the changeable tops.
I really loved my Quip for the convenience of the subscription, but unfortunately the quality is quite poor. I had to get my brush replaced a few times over the 3 or so years I had it, and my husband's brush eventually just stopped working. They were fine brushes, but really just seemed about as effective as a manual toothbrush.
