quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

Very portable, durable, and aesthetic.

Have used their toothbrush, floss, and mouthwash. The toothbrush is by far the best and the others products aren’t as refined yet. Sustainable and great for travel.

While the toothbrushes do a good job at cleaning your mouth, I'm just not crazy about the fact that the bristles don't move... They only vibrate. Which doesn't make sense to me. But they do last for a good while and do give a great clean.
Feedback
If the bristles moved I'd definitely give 5 stars. The head is the perfect size I think though.
Good toothbrush for traveling. This light & slim.

Good toothbrush for traveling. This light & slim. For an everyday toothbrush I am not a fan.

I have been getting quip now for a couple years. The only toothpaste I like.
Feedback
Didn't love the toothbrush head size compared with my electric toothbrush.
I used a quip toothbrush for several years. I really liked the sleek design and color options. It’s also easy to pack up for travel. Other than that, unfortunately, it is a disappointment. The head is too bulky, so it was uncomfortable brushing my gum line. The vibrations don’t do much and I never felt a good clean. Ultimately, I switched back to a sonic are brush and I am so much happier with the change.
Feedback
Thinner head, better designed head so it cleans better.
The product is very minimalistic in design, one of the main reasons I was attracted to Quip. There are a wide variety of colors, I have purchased a green, a gold, and a silver one. There is just one button to press to turn on the device, making it pretty simple to use.
Feedback
The battery does not last long at all, Quip does sell replacement batteries and brush heads though. However, you could just keep a stash of AAA batteries and be fine. I think it would be interesting to see Quip develop a charger/stand for the Quip toothbrush.
I have some pretty intense teeth and gum issues right now and the Quip brush heads are PERFECT for my level of sensitivity but I totally would've thought they weren't hard enough before my sensitivity issues.
Feedback
I wish the brush heads were cheaper and just came in one bulk order (of 5 or more) instead shipping out 1-3 every few months.
Personally, I would not buy this product again. I'm an avid fan of my Oral-b electric toothbrush, which is for the most part travel friendly but on the off chance, I need something more compact that doesn't need an outlet to charge I need another option. I thought Quip would be a good solution but I found the whole toothbrush very stiff and angular and the bristles short which just made it hard to get a good scrub in. Aesthetically the brushes are beautiful compared to most on the market, but honestly, my mouth just didn't feel that clean overall after use.
Feedback
I think the ergonomics of the brush shape, the length of the bristles, as well as the power of the vibration need to be changed in order to deliver a better brushing experience and cleaner mouth feel.
These are not my favorite. While the packaging and appearance of these are great, I did not feel that it cleaned my teeth very well. Also changing the heads is not very easy.
I think my favorite part of the about a year I used quip was that the brush vibrated at intervals to ley me know how long I was brushing for.
Feedback
I don't feel I use quite enough toothpaste to need a new bottle every three months, I usually go through them in 4-5 month segments, so I now have too much quip toothpaste lying around.
I didn't think the vibration element was powerful enough to loosen real plaque. While beautifully designed, the actual benefits did not seem sufficient.
Feedback
Perhaps a rotating head like the Oral B style of brush would do more.
Good toothbrush, I like that there are silicone bristles on the outside to get gums good

Wish it was easier to open and replace battery

Fun design and easy for travel, but overall I'd spend the money on a more powerful electric toothbrush.
Feedback
It felt a bit cheaply made + could use a little more power. Feel like a cross between a regular toothbrush + electric, but not quite one or the other.
Been using their toothbrush for years and love the subscription for new heads and batteries. Their reloadable floss pick was a bust for me. The floss broke frequently. But overall love the company and what they're putting out.

I’ve been using quip for about 5 years now. I much prefer getting my toothbrush refills in the mail than having to go to the store.
Feedback
My toothbrush is always breaking. Quip has sent replacements in the past but I’m too lazy to send back now. Need to fix battery issues

Was excited to try a sleek electric tooth brush. But the bristles don't quite move...

Invest in a better "brushing" technology and I'd buy it!
I used a Quip toothbrush for a little over a year and initially thought it was this amazing innovative dental tool. However, the vibration of the toothbrush really is just a timer and not an additional cleaning tool, like you might get with an expensive Oral B or Sonicare brush. I honestly don't feel like that's well-advertised. It was also a pain to manage the subscription for new brush heads, and I had wayyyy too many because I didn't get any notice about the renewal of the subscription and kept forgetting to cancel. I got my first two cavities ever during the year I used my Quip. It's got a great design and looks super aesthetic but I unfortunately didn't have the best experience.

The brushing functionality could be improved to elevate the cleaning process. I also think communication about what to expect should be better.

The brush heads do not clean nearly as well as I think they should, and the product was a big let down in terms of longevity. The round bottom means you can't set it down on the counter easily, as you can with a flat bottomed electric toothbrush. Back to the drawing board.
Feedback
The brush heads, shape, vibration of the brush head is weak, poor longevity.
Tested the floss. Great concept but the floss is very thing and breaks very often
Feedback
stronger floss
Not bad, gets the job done for being a toothbrush lol. But it randomly stops for a second or two mid brushing which I don’t really understand.
Feedback
Make a little thinner to fit into toothbrush holder also if you’re wearing makeup it stains the rubber part which is a pain.
