quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • The toothbrush was nice in design and function. I didn't see it being worth the price premium over other electric toothbrushes.

  • Feels great in hand. Travels well. The brush head is just a bit too big for my mouth. The motor died after about a year of use, but they sent me a replacement.

  • Used it for like 3 years. It was okay, honestly prefer other brushes with slightly larger travel cafes because I didn’t enjoy the use of disposable batteries

  • My two little kids and I use quip. I love mine but my kids’ toothbrushes haven’t held up as well. I think they are rougher on them and they don’t always work when we hit the button. I do like the subscription service which keeps me up to date on changing out the heads and batteries.

  • I’ve been using a quip for years and it’s the best toothbrush I have ever had. Sometime there are issues with the motor stopping but they have great customer service and can quickly provide a fix. I get the automatic shipment and so it’s easy to remember when to change out your toothbrush!

  • I bought one of these toothbrushes when they went on sale at Target. For the first few months, it worked really well! I liked the two minute timer, which forced me to brush for longer. I loved how portable and non-bulky the toothbrush was in comparison to other electric toothbrushes which require a plug-in. Mine also included a complimentary $15 in products from the brand's website, which I used to buy a few replacement heads and toothpaste. The replacement heads were effective, but I didn't love the toothpaste and wished it has a more minty flavor. After about 3 months, my toothbrush stopped working completely, which is pretty abysmal for a $40 item. Pretty disappointing.

  • I probably owe this brand another chance. I bought their toothbrush in the early years. While it was stunning and so sleek compared to all other electric toothbrushes, it kept having issues. I'm assuming this was just working through some quality control issues, but the darn heads just would not stay on the base after a week or so of use. Their customer service was great though, but eventually I just gave up on the idea that I would have a sexy electric toothbrush and opted for the more traditional ones :(

  • Quip floss is known for its sleek and user-friendly design. The floss comes in a slender dispenser that's easy to hold and maneuver, making it more convenient to reach those tight spaces between your teeth. It also features a replaceable floss cartridge, which reduces waste and keeps the dispenser looking clean and modern.

  • I enjoyed using quip. I think their subscription service is really helpful to keep good toothbrush maintenance habits.

  • The toothbrushes are nice to use - I did notice buildup inside the grooves between the removable head and the toothbrush body after almost every brushing, and it would look quite gross if you didn’t remove the head and clean it regularly. The subscription options are useful and arrive on time, it’s easy to set it and forget that you have it going until the next one arrives. The reusable floss pick is something I haven’t seen elsewhere and really like!

  • Great in form, OK in function. Wish it was a bit more powerful, always feel that I need to floss right after (though of course I should regardless!)

  • I am a frequent traveler, finding a toothbrush that combines convenience, effectiveness, and style can be quite a challenge. However, I recently discovered the Quip Adult Toothbrush, and I must say, it has become my go-to travel companion for maintaining oral hygiene on the go. One of the standout features of the Quip Adult Toothbrush is its sleek and compact design, specifically tailored for travel ease. The slim and lightweight handle makes it incredibly portable, fitting effortlessly into my toiletry bag or even my pocket. This compact size ensures that I never have to compromise on packing space while still having a reliable toothbrush at hand.

  • This was a fun product to try. I ended up buying one for myself, my wife, and two kids. They all liked it. We liked it so much that I bought a subscription for my brother as a Christmas gift!

  • I’ve had this toothbrush for about 8 months and have been enjoying it so far. It’s easy to pack up and bring with you, the bristles are soft, the brush head is easy to change and it’s sleek. My only complaints are sometimes it’s hard to get the battery out and the sticky side of the cover doesn’t really stick easily to surfaces. I didn’t enjoy their toothpaste but I will continue using the brush.

  • I've had mine for a couple years and honestly probably won't change brands anytime soon, but that being said, it's not the greatest toothbrush I've ever used. I love the sleek design and color options, but the vibration wasn't as strong as I expected. I also struggle changing the head out, and feel like I'm going to break it each time I do it.

  • Quip makes my teeth whiter, jump higher, and toothbrushing rituals a welcome experience. It's doing well for a reason. They're great! The only thing that bugs me is that it's cheaper to buy a bundled brush/paste combo when you get your first brush (or misplace your brush) than just a toothbrush. It feels wasteful and forced. (I get why they doing that from a conversion perspective, although as the shopper: I usually just want the toothbrush. Stop trying to make fetch happen!!! Jk jk. Quip, you're great. Just stop making me pay more to buy less. It's weird. I just want one brush!)

  • I like the minimal look, but product design isn’t hygienic as it allows mildew.
