  • Convenient refill subscription
  • Weak cleaning vibration

quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • I am a quip devotee. The powerful vibration leaves my teeth feeling cleaner, and the subscription model for new toothbrush heads means I always have a new head ready when it’s time to switch (I normally hate this kind of model, but this is one of the few situations where it really works!). When I got my first toothbrush from quip, I accidentally left it in a hotel room. The hotel threw it out, and when I contacted quip they sent me a one time replacement free of charge. Easiest customer service I’ve ever worked with.

  • Love my toothbrush. Love that it performs, lasts long and you can personalize the colors.

  • I’ve had this toothbrush for around 5 years. I don’t have other electronic toothbrushes to compare it with since I’ve always used regular ones. It gets the job done and is easily portable, but I can’t confidently say it offers much else?

  • I tried one of these toothbrushes and I'm not using it anymore. The bristles were too soft for me and not easy to replace, and I don't think it has a good battery life. It was cute, but I think next time I will go with a more trusted brand like Sonicare.

  • Got these for our kids. They’re so great! Love the look! The subscription is super convenient.

  • I used Quip for years, and felt their customer service and products were lacking. Cool packaging and marketing, but the subscription model was difficult to navigate out of when my toothbrush broke. I also felt like this ended up being an unsustainable product for me from an eco-conscious perspective.

  • All it does is vibrate and it gets pretty gross under the removable head. There are better electric brushes

  • Okay, listen up, peeps! 📢 I've officially upgraded my toothbrush game, and it's a game-changer. 🦷💥 The Quip toothbrush is like the Tesla of toothbrushes – sleek, techy, and way cooler than it needs to be. 🚀🪥 First off, it's got this gentle sonic vibration that makes me feel like I'm getting a spa treatment for my teeth. Ahh, so fancy! 😌✨ Plus, the built-in timer? Genius. No more questioning if I've brushed for long enough. It's like my personal dental coach, but without the whistle. 🕒🏋️‍♀️ And let's talk design – minimalist, clean, and the holder doubles as a travel case. Hello, practicality! 👌✈️ But the real MVP? The subscription service that delivers fresh brush heads and toothpaste to my door. No more last-minute CVS runs. 🙌🚚 So, if you want to level up your oral care game, go get yourself a Quip. Your teeth will thank you, and you'll feel like a dental rockstar. 🤘🪥

  • was looking for a forever toothbrush but i was a bit unimpressed with this line up! seemed to vibrate but not really clean efficiently. i ended up going with a different brand, though if given a choice i’d still opt for this in comparison to a traditional brush

  • I've had my quip for years and honestly love it. I get the new brush head and battery every quarter, along with their floss - which I like a lot better than typical flat floss. I think it's totally worth for the price and success of the product.

  • At first, I really loved quip. It was a beautifully designed, battery powered (I loved not having to carry a charger around) toothbrush with the best built in tongue scraper I have ever used. The vibration pattern even helped me know how long to brush in each zone. Unfortunately, the things I enjoyed about the quip faded away after two toothbrushes broke within 6 months (quip replaced the toothbrush both times) and I got a negative report from my dentist. If I’m not getting a solid teeth cleaning, nothing else really matters when it comes to a toothbrush.

  • Bought a quip toothbrush and it didn't work. Tried troubleshooting. Cool, simple brand tho.

  • honestly i like how this toothbrush looks but i really did not like how it functioned. It did not seem like it was getting my teeth clean AND changing the brush head was SOOOOO hard for me for some reason. Also the holder it comes with didn't work for me. Oh well!

  • The hype is real. Quip elevates the experience of brushing your teeth. They truly have thought of everything from making the subscription affordable and easy to manage to the fun colors they release throughout the year. The app makes it fun to log on and see what rewards I can claim just by brushing my teeth. Can't say enough good things.

  • This is a great toothbrush if you don't have access to a charger or want something small to travel with, but I really don't feel it cleans as well as some of the rechargeable ones. I used mine for a while at work, but when I retired I got rid of it.

  • This is really just a toothbrush that vibrates, but the thing that you really need that other electric toothbrushes have is the oscillating head to ensure that you're really getting your teeth clean.

  • I really like this toothbrush, love the design and feel of the toothbrush. It was my first electric toothbrush and now my teeth don’t feel clean without it. I was initially excited by the app and all the data but never use check the data.

  • I’ve had a quip tooth brush since 2017! The subscription is key because you never have to worry about changing your toothbrush every three months. Their customer service is honestly amazing. I’ve needed replacements a couple times due to my own fault and they’ve been so accommodating. I will continue to keep using this toothbrush for many more years to come!
