Reviews mention

  • Gentle, non‑irritating formulations
  • Ewg‑verified, clean ingredients
  • Effective eczema relief products
  • Softening, hydrating skin results
  • Thick, white‑cast sunscreen texture
  • Occasionally runny lotion consistency
  • Sticky hand sanitizer residue
  • Leaky, breakable product packaging

Pipette earns strong reviews for gentle, clean formulas that soothe sensitive, eczema‑prone baby skin and deliver an impressively wearable mineral SPF 50, but mixed feedback on sunscreen white cast/texture and occasional scent dislikes temper the praise. Reviews cite soft, hydrated results, EWG verification, and versatile staples like Baby Balm and diaper cream, while noting issues such as thick or oily sunscreen, runny lotions, leaky or finicky packaging, and a sticky hand sanitizer.

  • I don’t have a baby, but I love this brand so much. Their packaging is just so clean and appealing to me. Their sunblock is quite oily, but I’ve made my peace with it because of how hydrating it is. I’ll only wear it at home or while running errands. On days when my skin is feeling sensitive, I’ll reach for it as well. I have their Baby Balm, which is plant-based and free of petroleum jelly. I use it for slugging or for soothing chapped areas and it is so comforting. Not a fan of the lip balm because it is too thin and leaves an oily taste in my mouth, but if you want a convenient stick moisturizer, it will work well. The Baby Wipes are such great quality. I don’t know how, but they don’t dry out even after months. I have the Hand Sanitizer, and it’s so sticky and leave a film. This is the only product that I’ve tried that I truly dislike. I’ve gifted Pipette to mothers with babies. The pricing is so reasonable, they have really cute bundles, and if they fall in love with the products, I know they can easily find them at Target.

Please make your hand sanitizer less sticky!!

  • Clean ingredients. Gentle in baby skin. Last a long time. By far the best diaper cream and lotion I have found. They also offer good deals on their site multiple times a year

  • We purchased a set of lotion, balm, and wash during a Black Friday sale. Easy to use, lovely light smell, and love the non-scented option as well. Seems to keep my baby's skin softer than other brands we have used.

Great value for a quality product. Easy to pack when travelling, especially the balm stick.

  • I am an adult who uses Pipette products for myself. I regularly use: Baby Lotion in Vanilla Ylang Ylang (a beautiful, subtly sweet scent, almost like candy) -- as a general body lotion. Non-greasy, quick absorption. Can slide into bed or get dressed very quickly after applying. Belly Butter -- as a dry skin and post-shave lotion (legs and groin). The texture is key here. If you suffer dry skin or razor bumps, this cream is for you. Smells a little medicinal, but it's not off-putting. Perhaps eucalyptus. Eczema Lotion -- for when I develop eczema (of course!) or inflamed/ itchy skin. Works like a dream and effectively replaces Cortisone for me. Works rapidly, which is crucial. The scent is very neutral, with a hint of colloidal oatmeal (which I like) Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is my go-to body sunscreen. I have a very fair complexion, and this product is effective for me. I can use it on my face without upsetting my rosacea. However, it's worth noting that it is not great under makeup -- it has too much "slip" and (as a mineral sunscreen) never absorbs. If you are like me and eschew makeup most days, it's definitely worth trying.

The Daily Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner weren't effective for my hair & scalp (very long, coarse, thick waves and curls). My spouse (who has long, fragile, thin natural blonde hair) liked the conditioner, but reports the shampoo didn't cleanse well enough, requiring more frequent washes. Both products smell awesome -- somewhere between Orange Dreamsicle and Orange Juice Concentrate.

  • My baby is sensitive to LOTS of products, but this super gentle formula has never irritated her skin.

  • Stocked up on a bunch of pipette stuff for our newborn, love the price point and packaging (as well as fragrance free and clean formula). Ordered directly from website and got a big discount, lots of freebies and access to smaller travel size products perfect for diaper bags.

  • I'm super into unscented products and have become obsessed with Pipette's mineral sunscreen. It's SPF 50 and goes on like a dream. I wear it daily and bring it with me when I'm going to be outside for long stretches of time. It doesn't burn my eyes and it doesn't feel filmy like a lot of sunscreens do.

  • love the brand, the packaging, the design, the mission, quality of ingredients. Best brands for babies in the US market.

Smells could be improved and offer a better alternative than the one offered so far.

  • I'm a big fan of Pipette! Their clean ingredients give me peace of mind for my baby's skincare needs, and the lavender vanilla scent is a lovely touch. I have all of their products; shampoo, balm, lotion, oil, &sunscreen. What surprised me even more is that when I used their baby shampoo on my irritated scalp, it worked wonders. It transformed my dry, dull hair into something vibrant and healthy. I highly recommend Pipette to all moms – it's a skincare brand that delivers on both baby care and self-care

  • Happy to have a found a brand that is low in PUFAs. Especially their sunscreen. Not only are the prices super reasonable, but the products are genuinely nontoxic and “clean,” not just greenwashed.

  • I've tried several pipette products and love them all! The body wash and diaper cream are my go to products.

Would love an option for a larger size of the wash and conditioner as to not waste with plastic and shipping.

  • Love their baby sunscreen! Goes on much easier than other mineral based baby sunscreens.

  • Started using this a couple of months ago for my toddler and newborn and we love it! Initially picked it out because it is made by the same parent company of some of the skin care that I use. I like that it doesn’t have that typical “Unscented” smell to it and it genuinely doesn’t leave a weird smell behind. Definitely helped out with the newborn dry skin issues and just living in a dry climate.

  • I've used Pipete's baby products since my daughter was a newborn and they're great. Good packaging, super gentle, and they seem to do a great job. I love their mini travel sizes for when we're on-the-go.

The only Pipette product I haven't loved is their sunscreen. It's just super thick and hard to rub in.

  • great product, love the focus and it works very well for light eczema situations with little kids, not super heavy texture wise but seems to work well for lighter situations...

  • I tried this brand on my newborn. We used the body wash and the diaper cream. There was a strange smell so I stopped using them after a few days.

  • I have been using Pipette since my son was born 8 years ago and I use his lotion for myself. It is absolutely divine, the milky texture and the subtle scent. I can’t stop using it.

  • I've used the Pipette sunscreen. This is a mineral sunscreen, so it will leave a white cast no matter what. I tend to use it just on my neck for that reason. Sometimes the product gets separated/oily and you need to make sure to shake the container to mix well before applying.
