Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

Life changing! I feel so motivated to work out and genuinely changed my life to better.

Searching for specific songs is quite clunky but perfect otherwise
It was a lot of fun and easy to use! a GREAT workout with lots of different levels.

It's too expensive to be worth it to me to be honest. I think this was great during lockdown, but I would not get it now.
Best product ever. Changed my life. Screw haters.

Nothing. Maybe more ways to engage with friends
Absolutely fantastic product. I was pretty skeptical when my wife wanted to get one in 2020 having rarely biked before, but it absolutely blew me away. Quality of the bike and the classes / instructors are top notch, and there is huge variety of workout content to choose from. I think they are head and shoulders above other at home fitness products in the market today. I had an issue with a clicking sound on the bike and customer service was fast and easy to deal with - overall highly recommend.
I just bought one used from a friend. Their process for activating a used bike is SO cumbersome - you literally have to call customer service during business hours just to get an activation key. Something they could easily provide digitally. The bike itself is fine - I love Peloton workouts.

Too expensive.

I know Peloton is getting a lot of heat as of lately due to leadership and executive choices, but I don't think that should reflect badly on the product, the trainers and classes, or the overall UX. All the rides are fun and challenging—and having a workout option within my home that doesn't take up a lot of space has been wonderful. Overall, I've been so happy with my purchase.

I wish that the monthly cost was a little cheaper. Paying for my peloton membership on top of other things I like to do (lift, climb, etc) has been difficult to maneuver. Is there a way to do packages with other health/wellness/gyms?
I really enjoyed the bike. It is so incredible to be working out with people and just feels like a great community!
One of the best onboarding flows I've experienced, from having a free trial of the mobile app to get onboarded in the platform, to easy delivery, setup, and explanation when it arrive. First product / platform that's gotten me to workout consistently
the range of classes are great, the app means i can access the workouts anywhere! its great that you also don't need bike shoes with their adaptor

I admit it - I've drunk the Peloton kool aid. At first I was skeptical, so the 3 month free trial was a perfect option. And honestly it's become an obsession! Caveat - I'm not using the Peloton bike, only the app with my own bike at home (but as I'm using it so much I am planning to invest in the future). I've been riding in front of the TV and it's been a great addition to my workout while in lockdown. The outdoor walking tracks are really good fun too.

I wish that you could create stacks on your phone/the mobile app. I also wish that stacks played automatically, rather than taking you out at the end of each set and showing stats. I would also like to be able to click to people's profiles at the end of rides - especially people who have interacted/high fived etc.

I love the Peloton classes! I find the diversity of music to be good (not great) as I'd like more edge to the sounds, it can be a little poppy but there's still some great finds like Hannah Wilkinson.
Feedback
More diversity in sounds.
Peloton is more than just a bike. It's a community. Being isolated as a result of covid, I've often had moments when I wish I had a cheerleader. That's when I listen to Hannah Frankson pump me up while I go at it on the bike.

Improve on supply chain & delivery issues
Great classes, great bike. Expensive, but worth it. Completely changed my mindset when it comes to exercise and removed any ability for me to make excuses. Mostly nervous about transporting it (without breaking it) if we move again in the near future.
Feedback
The starter packages are a bit of a ripoff - the heart rate monitor is fine but not great, the glass water bottles are terrible for the bike (we ended up replacing them with two vacuum-sealed, straw lid bottles from Costco) and the headphones are not good.

Yes, they look great. Yes, the classes can be fun (if not a little annoying). And yes, if you want to make your friends jealous, a Peloton may well do just that. But... they're massively overpriced and the monthly subscription for the classes on top of that is a little difficult to swallow.
Really cool bike and great range of videos.

The instructors are very.... American. It would be great to have some more European instructors
I resisted buying a Peloton for a long time, including ~9 months of lockdown in 2020. I'm love spin studios and was pretty cynical about how well the at-home ride experience would compare. I eventually caved at the start of 2021, when it became clear the UK would be in lockdown for a lot longer and I haven't looked back. Even my husband who is a 'real cyclist' and cynical about the . The production value is great, having the bike at home is so convenient and yes, I'm emotionally attached to a few of the instructors at this point. Plus I'm spending less than I would have on a premium gym or studio membership.

The delivery and assembly were really smooth. The main issue was finding a good spot in our apartment (right now it's parked in a 'just bit enough' gap in a spare bedroom.
Is there anyone that has one that doesn't love it?
I joined the Peloton tribe in 2017. Started off with the Bike and then the Tread Plus, and most recently upgraded Bike to Bike Plus. Peloton has been a complete Game Changer for my life and ability to work hard at my fitness goals while having young children. The highlight is ultimately the fact that you love to set yourself goals, targets, rides/runs/programs to join. You have coaches there you want to work out with, and friends to ride with. Thanks to the Peloton family I now have Guinness Book of World records certificate, over 400 rides and 300 runs. My post child birth recovery was incredibly quick thanks to the outdoor walking classes and Andy Speer beginner strength training 4 week program. The Powerzone 6 weeks challenges are also a highlight. I can't say enough wonderful things. I am obsessed.
Feedback
The Tread Plus safety concerns worry me as I have young children but I opted not to return it and just ensure appropriate safety steps are taken at home.
Love my Peloton - especially the Power Zone training program
