Reviews mention

  • Engaging, charismatic instructors
  • Extensive, evolving class library
  • Sturdy, smooth ride hardware
  • Motivating, community-driven platform
  • Uncomfortable, rigid bike saddle
  • High, recurring membership fees
  • Occasional clunky software updates
  • Inconsistent hardware longevity

Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

  • I’ve used my peloton for over five years and it’s always my go to exercise when in a pinch. The workouts are fun. You always stay engaged and the content is always fresh

  • Subscription-based fitness ecosystem, with multiple products. This focused on their flagship, the Bike+. Love the swivel mount to do off-bike workouts, and the auto-resistance that the + model offers is well worth it. Splitting hairs, but only improvement could be a better speaker for the classes.

  • I've had my Peloton Bike since March 2020, and it's hands-down the best investment I've made for my home gym. The quality of the bike itself is top-notch. It's sturdy, smooth, and quiet. But what sets it apart is the incredible library of live and on-demand classes. The instructors are motivating and energetic, making every workout a fun experience. I love that I can choose from various classes, from beginner to advanced, and find something that fits my mood and fitness goals. The leaderboard feature adds an extra element of competition and keeps me returning for more. If you're looking for a high-quality indoor cycling bike that will keep you motivated and engaged, I highly recommend the Peloton.

  • The monthly subscription is overpriced for people who actually own the bike which makes no sense. There are several instructors who make the rides fun and bring the energy but it’s just another over priced piece of exercise equipment.

  • Boring and uncomfortable. Wife got one a few months ago. She rode it for about a week. She lost interest pretty quickly. I found the seat nearly impossible to sit on. So hard and uncomfortable. The instructors are mostly unnaturally enthusiastic. Not interested in competing with other users. We sent it back less than two weeks later.

  • If you truly commit to using this product, you will see results!

  • This exercise bike is very similar to regular cheap ones. The only difference is it has a tv screen built in and the other ones don’t. I would never spend the extra money to buy one

  • A standard treadmill I guess? Nothing wrong with it yet and it gets the job done. Pretty annoying that you need to sign in with an account to be able to go for a run. Like, can I not just run? It would be cooler if you could select more options for entertainment while running, like shows or movies. The "scenic runs" get pretty boring after a bit but all treadmills deal with that.

  • I’ve had my bike for several years now and am still with it! Worth the investment since peloton continued to add content and updates their services. We even had a recalled part and it was easy to file a claim and replace it! It’s a convenient workout that still pushes you — you may be at home, but there’s nothing comfortable about it… in a good way :)

  • They've made a pretty amazing interactive product. As a tall guy though, my one critique would be to make the cranks removable and interchangeable on the bikes for people of different heights. For me, the crank isn't long/tall enough to allow my legs full range of motion when I want to stand up on the bike. It's like trying to ride a child's bike as an adult. I can sit and do the exercises that way, but it doesn't allow me to push myself the way other people can in the classes or on my own. One crank seems to be removable, but the other is welded in place, which does me no good. My wife loves it though (she's much shorter) so at least one of us gets to use it.

  • This is the rolls Royce of spin bikes. You get what you pay for and this is it!

  • So far I’ve only used it a few times, but it has been great! As a beginner, I really appreciate all of the beginner classes and different instructors that you can choose from. Something I recently found is that you can check the playlist of the class before you get started, and I love that feature!

  • I AM OBSESSED WITH PELOTON. THE APP, THE BIKE. It’s the only thing that’s kept me consistently going back to working out. The bike gives me great cardio and i especially love the bootcamp. The app has great Pilates, stretching, strength and other great classes.

  • I purchased a series 2 bike and while I cannot say enough about the quality of the equipment, I had several issues. I found the bike very difficult to adjust on my own and that it wasn’t accessible for petite proportions. I’m 4’11” and struggled with a good seat height and handle bar distance every time I used it. My alignment never matched up with the setup videos; I always felt like I was hunched over. The classes were fun but I never felt like the “beginner” classes truly supported beginners. I mostly ended up using it for the scenic rides before selling it after a year.

  • I’m a spin instructor and use this for supplemental workouts! The bike itself is great, well designed, good connectivity with wireless. Offers a wide variety of options for beginners to advance. Only downside is some instructors talk way too much and can’t get in the zone well. You are allowed 20sec of silence while digging hard on a great song. With that said, they have a lot more instructors than they use to which is nice and now easier to avoid the annoying ones.

  • The peleton is a must have! It is one of the best machines I have ever used. Very easy to set up and use.

  • transformative experience for my fitness routine. Here are my detailed thoughts: Build Quality and Design: The Peloton bike boasts a sleek and sturdy design. Its robust frame ensures stability even during intense workouts, and the overall build quality feels premium. The compact size is perfect for home use, fitting easily into a small space. Interactive Display: The high-definition touchscreen display is one of the standout features. It's clear, responsive, and offers an immersive experience. The ability to stream live classes and access a vast library of on-demand workouts directly from the screen enhances the overall experience. Workout Experience: The range of classes available is exceptional, catering to all fitness levels and preferences. Whether it’s high-intensity interval training, scenic rides, or themed music rides, there’s something for everyone. The instructors are motivational and skilled at creating an engaging and challenging workout environment.

    Influencer for Peloton
  • Been an avid Peloton rider for over 3 years now. I love the variety of classes both on and off the bike! Especially love the 15-minute options to get a quick workout in on busy days. The app is great for when you are traveling too - tons of workouts that do not require any equipment. The instructors are amazing and I really love the connection you feel during a ride with them and the other riders! I am not an athlete or “love” working out but that fact that I have stuck with Peloton for this long is definitely saying something!
