Reviews mention

  • Playful, eye-catching packaging design
  • Clean, gluten-free ingredient list
  • Distinct, nostalgic coffee-chocolate flavor
  • Consistently crisp, satisfying crunch
  • Subtle, underpowered flavor profiles
  • Quick-staling, fragile texture
  • Low-protein, low-fiber satiety
  • Occasional bitter coffee notes

OffLimits earns mixed reviews: the brand delights with fun packaging, clean gluten‑free/plant‑based ingredients, satisfying crunch, and inventive flavors like Dash (coffee/chocolate) and Pandan, but many reviews report subdued or bland flavor, quick staling, and low satiety. Reviews of OffLimits also flag inconsistent coffee intensity—ranging from cocoa‑puff nostalgia to barely-there or bitter—and note that while it works as a tasty, not‑too‑sweet treat and makes flavorful cereal milk, several buyers would not repurchase due to underwhelming taste and small, less filling boxes.

  • Fun adult flavors without sacrificing the nostalgic feeling of having cereal as a kid! Love pairing these with nut milk or eating as a quick snack. And who doesn't love edible glitter?!

  • Cereal had good coffee flavor, I didnt think it was bitter. It did taste pretty dry and had a stale after taste to it.

  • I ordered the coffee flavor and it was delicious!!

Wish they sold it in stores!

  • I was happy that this wasn't too sweet, but the cereal tasted pretty bland. I wouldn't purchase again, especially at the high price point.

More flavor. Maybe a chocolate/coffee blend.

  • The two I tried were fine but bland. It barely satisfied my cereal cravings.

    Feedback

    They are pretty darn pricey.

  • Love the design of the box and the ingredients. Taste was good, not too sweet. Kind of reminded me of coco puffs. Just wish it had a stronger coffee taste.

The price is high for the amount you get.

  • Got the Chamberlain Coffee as part of a Thingdrop after wanting to try this brand for quite some time. It's definitely a solid cereal option - it's not too sweet, doesn't taste healthy, and has delicious flavor. Really reminds me of Cocoa Puffs, but good to know that it is better for me! The box is smaller and has fewer servings per container compared to other cereals, so that might make me hesitate for the price. But I was pleasantly surprised at how good this tasted and will definitely try another flavor.

Nothing with the product itself. Mailing box arrived pretty banged up, and the cereal box was even worse. It didn't damage or crush the cereal at all, but good to know for general shipping purposes.

  • I LOVE this cereal!!! The chocolate coffee flavor of the Chamberlain Coffee flavor is so delicious - like cocoa puffs but with the glorious addition of cold brew milk leftover after you finish your cereal! I want to try all their flavors now.

  • LOVEEE the concept and branding. Taste of the coffee was cool but overpriced IMO. Quickly became stale but maybe that was my fault..

    lower prices!

  • HUGE fan of the pandan flavor! Wish that other cereal brands would expand their flavors to include flavors like pandan or ube.

  • It was tasty, the modern day, better for you, cookie crisp! Not life changing

  • While the coffee cereal was a little intense for me (and pricing was high), it made for some really delicious coffee cereal rice krispie-style treats. My boyfriend's roommates could not stop snacking on them, and I'd definitely recommend bringing to a party to be the It girl of snacks.

  • I really liked the coffee flavor. I disagree with the other reviews that say it was bitter—I loved the strong coffee taste! I definitely would buy again.

  • I loved creating a bridge from my childhood to adulthood. Very tasty. And the coffee at the end of the soaked and cleared cereal puffs was just incredible.

Price point is quite high, please reconsider.

  • Overall a really good cereal with a good crunch. I'm just not sure if I like the idea of caffeine in my cearal. Also, it is a little too expensive for me to repurchase.

  • The cereal was fine. I expected it to have more of a coffee flavor, especially since it says it turns the milk in the bowl to cold brew. Tasted more like stale chocolate cereal. Better ingredients is always a good thing to have but the cereal doesn’t taste very different (or is any healthier) than regular old cereal. Definitely not worth the increased price. It was enjoyable enough for the discounted price I paid but I would not pay full price for this cereal.

Better crunch. Make flavors taste closer to what they are advertised as.

  • I really enjoyed this! The cereal turns your milk into almost a latte, and I'm not mad about it.

  • Yes! Love Emily and her mission to make cereal not just healthy, but fun again. Off Limits is really pushing the bounds on combining creativity with cereal again, taking the blandness out of "healthy". They also have their hands in web3 so excited to see what's next.

  • I received the Chamberlain Coffee cereal as part of a Thingdrop. The cereal pieces were perfectly sized and had a good crunch. The coffee flavor was noticeable, natural tasting, and not overpowering.

I was quite happy with this cereal. My boyfriend thought it would be nice if the milk at the end of the bowl had more of the cereal flavor, but I didn't mind that it didn't.

  • I got the Chamberlain Coffee cereal in a Thingdrop and I thought it was really good! Very similar to coco puffs and the cold brew milk leftover was a fantastic idea and very delicious. We even tried it with chocolate milk and it was like dessert for breakfast. I work with a couple cereal experts and they also gave it five stars, and were surprised by how much they liked it.

Would try again but it is a pretty pricey cereal for the box size
