Reviews mention

  • Consistent crema-topped espresso
  • Elegant, compact machine design
  • Wide, nuanced capsule variety
  • Convenient, user-friendly interface
  • Notably loud brewing noise
  • Coffee cools unusually quickly
  • Occasional machine jams detected
  • Vertuo pod ecosystem lock-in

Nespresso earns strong reviews for delivering consistent, quick, and stylish at‑home espresso that many find rich with reliable crema and ample pod variety, including Reviving Origins Colombia, Whiskey Essence, Stormio, and Paris Espresso. Reviews also flag weaknesses: machines can be loud or jam, coffee cools quickly, Vertuo pod lock‑in and pod cost frustrate some, and a minority report poor taste or customer service—making it excellent for convenience-first drinkers, less ideal for purists.

  • I got a free Nespresso original machine from a friend when she moved a few years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I passed the original machine onto a friend, and I now have the Vertuo pop (paid for by me). I live alone, so it’s really convenient to be able to just make one cup of coffee when I want it rather than trying to make a tiny pot. I love the variety of roasts and flavours, and that the pods are fully recyclable by Nespresso. The grounds can be composted and aluminum is one of the very products that is truly able to be recycled into new aluminum products. My favourite things about Nespresso is their incredible promotion system. I got my machine for $20 when I bought $150 in pods. It worked out the same price as the machine was originally, but I got roughly four months of coffee with it. I’ve also gotten really nice gifts with my purchases: travel mugs, espresso cups, chocolates, cookies, ice cube trays, and an apron (to name just a few!). I usually wait until they had a gift promotion to order, so it never feels like I’m buying extra just to get the gift.

  • I am lazy and can't be bothered to deal with coffee grinds. I'm not even a hardcore coffee drinker. Mostly bought this to press a button for hubby in the morning. I like that they have lots of different flavours/types/regional varietals, and the system is reliable. Delivery is convenient and quick, the freebies are great, and the product is consistent. What more do you want? Could the coffee be stronger? Sure - but convenience is king. I'm on my 2nd machine and will continue on in the Nespresso ecosystem.

  • Great coffee experience for a daily machine. I love all of the variety of flavors and sizes of the pods to brew exactly what you need throughout your day. I have to say, the Whiskey Essence flavor is MAGNIFICENT. I have never had a coffee pod with this much flavor and excitement for my tastebuds. I like it iced or as the espresso I use for an espresso martini. It is excellent. Stormio is my classic everyday favorite! Their recycling program is a big win for me too.

  • My sister in-law has a Nespresso and it changed my mind ( a little) about pod coffee. This tastes very good, it's a fast cup of coffee with a nice little frothy head. they give you a postage paid bag to return the used pods so you aren't adding to the plastic in landfills. She has had her machine for a couple of years now, and it still works great

  • I got my nespresso machine a while back and I enjoy the fact that I can make iced espresso at home rather than buying coffee every day

  • Nespresso saved us during Covid. I jumped on the TikTok train and followed a ton of people making coffee at home so I could learn how to make my Vanilla Lattes. The Nespresso maker was super easy to use and the coffee tasted the same every time. Cleaning it is another story and I wish it was easier to take apart and clean.

  • The espresso is decent, but not amazing, it's quick and easy at home lattes though. I wish they had more variety. Also wish I had bought the original instead of vertuo tbh.

  • We use ours daily and our vertuo machine is now 5+years old and going strong. Like the every expanding selection of coffee pods and varying sizes!

  • The Nespresso Verturo machine and coffee pods allow me to create cafe-level coffee from the comfort of my home. All of the pods that I have tried made an extremely fresh cup of coffee and I love that the pods can be recycled. Now that I have this machine, I find myself preferring to make coffee at home rather than picking it up at the coffee shop.

  • I absolutely love my Nespresso coffee machine. It's definitely one of the simplest ones i've used. They also sell some really lovely flavoured coffee pods!

  • I was given one as a gift from a family member. When I visited her, I fell in love with hers! It is easy to use, and has two settings: espresso and Americano. I have to admit, I became addicted to espresso with the easy to use pods. The only sore spot is cleaning the machine.

  • Nespresso machines are one of my favorite gifts to give - they're easy on the eyes, easy to use, and reliably consistent in making good coffee. While a Moka pot or Chemex taste better, this is easier to use for most people, and I won't turn down a cup. :)

  • This is the caffe for you if you like the strong one. It has not to do with Keurig. It also has options like decaf or flavored ones. If I want to start my day with energy, this is the kind of caffe that I need.

  • We love our Nespresso! It's super convenient to make great coffee and lattes in no time. Strongly recommend the milk frother as an unstoppable duo!

  • Nice enough entry level home espresso. Feels like an elevated experience initially, but for me, became an inferior espresso product pretty quickly. Perfect for my early twenties. It felt luxurious. But my tastes changed as I matured and I no longer really care for the taste and experience. Had mixed results with the machine. I must state that I was an owner/user/member more than 10 years ago.

  • Love Nespresso! Not a fan of all coffee types, but that is personal preference. Other than that the quality is great! Much better at home machines than the competitor!

  • Nespresso is a game-changer in the world of coffee! As a coffee enthusiast, I can't help but praise the convenience and quality it offers. With a wide range of flavors and intensities, Nespresso caters to every coffee lover's palate. The sleek and stylish machines are a delight to use, making the whole coffee-making process a breeze. The capsules are a perfect portion for a single cup, ensuring consistent taste and aroma with every brew. What truly sets Nespresso apart is the consistent quality of their coffee. Each cup is a rich and flavorful experience, akin to that of a café-made beverage. Whether it's a classic espresso shot, a frothy cappuccino, or a velvety latte, Nespresso delivers on all fronts. Another aspect worth mentioning is their commitment to sustainability. Nespresso offers a recycling program for their capsules, making it easy to reduce waste and be environmentally conscious. While some may argue about the cost of capsules, I find it justified for the premium coffee experience they provide. It's an indulgence that brings joy to my daily routine. In summary, Nespresso is the epitome of convenience, taste, and quality. If you're a coffee lover looking to elevate your at-home coffee game, Nespresso is the way to go. Say goodbye to bland instant coffee and say hello to a delightful coffee experience with Nespresso!

  • I’ve had my Nespresso for a couple of years and I am a huge fan!! I love being able to create my own speciality coffees, the frother is a 10/10. The only downside is how you can’t buy pods from grocery stores and that you have to order from their website or a Nespresso store.

  • Big fan of my Nespresso Vertuo Next and use it daily! I purchased in December 2022 and have had no issues with my machine. I love being able to have high-quality coffee/espresso in the comfort of my own home. Cutting costs by no longer having daily Starbucks runs is also a big bonus!
