Native earns mixed-to-positive reviews: its deodorants and body washes smell exceptional and many users say they work for everyday wear, while others report short wear time, residue, and staining. Reviews praise clean-feeling formulas, sensitive-skin options, and standout scents like Coconut & Vanilla, Eucalyptus & Mint, and Citrus & Herbal Musk, but note inconsistent odor control in heat/workouts, occasional rashes or grit, and cardboard-packaging ergonomics.

The scents and ingredient listing really check all my boxes when buying a product. I love their lotions and body washes.

Native ingredients doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all . It’s so gentle and the scents are everlasting.

I absolutely love the body wash, every scent is amazing. I have mixed reviews about the deodorant, on occasion I feel like it gives me a little irritation. But I do have to say the smell is lovely and seems to help keep me dry.

Love the scent and does work but did cause skin irritation even with the sensitive formula. Super bummed wanted it this to be the one !

I really like the design and scents of the Native products and think it’s great that they are so accessible, ie you can buy them at your regular grocery store. But I’m not a big fan of product performance - I’ve used the shampoo and conditioner and did not like how it made my hair feel (no volume or flow)

It was ok for me. I used Native for about 6 months and it totally matched what I was looking for - biodegradable packaging (it was all basically cardboard) and light to no scent. I enjoyed it while I was using it, after about 6 months I started developing a rash under both arms. Long story short I figured out through trial and error that it was the baking soda used in Native.
Well I truly appreciate the portable deodorant options they have, I've tried to different scents by native over the course of a few years and I won't be repurchasing. Although they use less toxic ingredients some of their components are not pure. I assume that's why it's a little bit more affordable than other natural deodorant lines. The fragrances are probably what my skin didn't like but I believe the main issue was that I was still sweating profusely and while the scent masked my natural body scent I developed the rash due to the moisture in my armpits. I had to use a steroid to get rid of it and since then I've been choosier with my deodorant.

The Native Coconut & Vanilla Body Wash was great, smelled delicious and very foamy. But the Native deodorant wasn't my favorite for this type of product, the texture was nice but it just didn't deliver.

I’ve tried two different scents for native and personally, it’s not the type of deodorant I would count on to keep me smelling fresh all day. I would prefer a gel deodorant in lieu of the Native brand. If you sweat a lot during workouts or in general, I would shy away from this.

My daughter and I both use their deodorants because they smell good, are free of excess added chemicals, and they actually work. They don't leave white marks or feel greasy, either. We tell all our friends about these and sugar they try them out, too.

Native is creating products for all skincare needs. I love the variety of fragrances from musk to light cucumber. Safe ingredients and ingredient transparency makes this a good option for breast cancer survivors.
I recently tried the Native deodorant. What I love about this brand are the fun, unique scents as well as the natural ingredients used rather than artificial ingredients. Native also prides itself on using a lot fewer ingredients, which I appreciate to help create a more natural product.
I really wanted to like this product. I had read so much about it that I also wanted to support the company. However, I tried several of the body washes and I just couldn't take the scents; they were too strong and smelled "off." I won't be giving this another try.
I really wanted to like this line. Their deodorant smells really good, but it didn't last as long as I'd hoped. I had to reapply far too often for my liking.
I like the mission of this brand obviously, but sadly for me the products just simply don't come through. The deodorant had me smelling like B.O within just a few hours after I put it on, the body wash is runny and doesn't have a lasting scent, and it's all just so simple that it doesn't feel like it's doing much!
Deodorant unfortunately did not work for me. Maybe it just depends on the person and where they're located. No way this would be okay to wear in the Texas heat. It's a shame because I liked how clean it is.
I tried Native Deodorant and it’s okay, but not mind-blowing. It works well for a while, but I found myself needing to reapply during the day. The scents are nice, but it didn’t keep me as fresh as I’d hoped. Solid, but not my favorite.
I use and buy native products often. I like the ones that they sensitive on them. I recently tried their sunscreen and really liked it.
It is non-irritating and easy to glide in your arm pits. Its subtle scent is comforting, barely there. It struck me more like one of those new body deodorant product options rather than an antiperspirant. Maybe it's a great option for someone who is allergic to "regular" antiperspirants? If you sweat from being outside or exercising, this is NOT your pick.
