I think some formulas work better for some than others. This one just wasn't for me.
I bought the Powder & Cotton and Eucalyptus & Mint scents. This deodorant is pretty pricey at $13 but that seems standard for aluminum-free "clean" deodorants. The scents are great, the packaging is clean and looks pretty, and I enjoy putting it on.

I gave it a 3 because I'll probably continue purchasing it but can't tell if it works well. I think realistically I need a stronger deodorant or antiperspirant formula than what baking soda can provide - it usually works for an hour or two and then I start to sweat normally and smell again. I don't have the time or energy to reapply as much as I need. It also does leave white streaks and clumps quickly if I put on too much. But I like that the brand sets itself apart with good scents and generally this is the best-working "clean" deodorant I've ever used, so as long as that continues to be a selling point for me, I'll probably buy Native.
I really like the scents, and the formulas! They work well, and I especially like the conditioner.

I really enjoy the scent and formulation of the deodorant, especially the seasonal cinnamon scent, however the paper case that it came in (haven't tried the other, plastic case) bent when first used, and it's hard to re-close it again.

I'm a fan of some of the deodorant scents and found that the formula worked relatively well for me after awhile, but don't love how sticky/heavy the deodorant feels or the white streaks it leaves behind.
The deodorant unfortunately did not work for me…I tried the rose scent. I also think the body wash is OK, but I wouldn’t repurchase.

Natural deodorant is hard…I think the scents are great but the formula isn’t very effective.
I first started by using their deodorants which are just about as good as you can get for aluminum-free deodorant. I also then started using their body wash & shampoo & conditioner, which are also all really good.

Doesn’t last 24 hours on me
As someone with sensitive underarms, Native was non-irritating and smelled nice. Initially, the deodorant actually worked quite well! Eventually, (and inevitably, it seems) the deodorant stopped doing its job and workouts or even the slightest bit of sweating would cause very unpleasant visible white marks on my underarms. To be clear, I'm not one who sweats profusely, but there were times when my sweat would produce a milky white color and froth a little while using Native. It was horrible. Not only that, but over time the deodorant wasn't effective at inhibiting body odor. I tried multiple scents and the sensitive skin version to no avail. Native started off quite promising, and I was disappointed to find the results short-lived.

The super-thick deodorant formula makes it so that you MUST put your clothes on for the day before you apply deodorant. If you try putting on a sports bra or anything tight-fitting you will for sure end up with deodorant marks all over your clothes. What is most disappointing about Native is that the results are short-lived. It wasn't long before the deodorant stopped doing its job and you're left with an ineffective very expensive stick of deodorant. Sweating even the slightest bit often resulted in visible white clumps of the deodorant under your arms. I would suggest looking elsewhere, especially for the pricepoint.
I know Native has been bought out, but I still love this product. I feel like I can get plastic-free deodorant without compromising on scents and effectiveness.
I used their deodorant for a couple of months. I love the scents and overall this natural deodorant works quite well and is better than most other natural brands. My favorite product from Native is the body wash, amazing scent and works great!

I got this deo for my teen daughter when she was starting to need this type of product. I liked its fragrance and also that its ingredients are natural and simple. Great for young people who needs to start the habit of wearing deodorant. This deodorant does not have antiperspirant. It might work great for people who don't care about that part, but definitely not for anyone who are looking for dryness during the day.

Although it has very natural ingredients, it's not hypoallergenic (or at least it was not my experience with it). It would be also great to have an option that has antiperspirant too.

I LOVE this brand. While it may be somewhat weaker than non-natural name brands, I think it is a great product for being a clean, natural deodorant. All the scents are also amazing!
This was the first (and sadly last) natural deodorant I've tried. The deodorant functioned as described for a few months, but for whatever reason after some time I started noticing skin irritation and the deodorant stopped being effective. I know these types of deodorants aren't for everyone and there's often an adjustment period, but the formula just didn't cut it for my sensitive skin. However, I did introduce my mother to this brand (before my incident) and she has been a repeat customer for a while! I do like their size options, scents, and packaging...just wished the product worked for me!

I tried the native deodorant and it just didn’t work for me. It ended up burning my skin and did not really do anything to help with odor. I do like the scent of the body wash and deodorant.

I have used other natural deodorants that are effective so improving the deodorant. It is also incredibly expensive.
