Reviews mention

  • Refined, memorable fragrances
  • Gentle, sensitive-skin formulas
  • Smooth, glide-on application
  • Accessible, diverse scent range
  • Inconsistent odor longevity
  • Occasional white residue transfer
  • Gritty, sticky deodorant texture
  • Noticeable shirt staining risk

Native earns mixed-to-positive reviews: its deodorants and body washes smell exceptional and many users say they work for everyday wear, while others report short wear time, residue, and staining. Reviews praise clean-feeling formulas, sensitive-skin options, and standout scents like Coconut & Vanilla, Eucalyptus & Mint, and Citrus & Herbal Musk, but note inconsistent odor control in heat/workouts, occasional rashes or grit, and cardboard-packaging ergonomics.

  • Doesn't work. Says it does. But doesn't. It's ok though - most natural deodorants don't!

Look into brands like Lume - what they do.

  • The only natural deodorant that I've tried that doesn't irritate my skin. Love the packaging, scent, and formula. So glad to finally find something that works!

  • Native is an amazing product. Our whole family has switched to this deodorant. The only thing I did not like was the tube they use for the eco friendly packaging. I love that it is an option but the tube was so hard to use and there was so much wasted product at the end.

    Feedback

    Better ecofriendly packaging.

  • I really like Native, it's been my go-to deodorant for the past few years. I used to order it, but my local grocery store just started carrying it, which is great, however, they don't carry the unscented or sensitive, which I prefer. I rub it in after applying so it doesn't leave marks on my clothes and it doesn't stain my garments, either.

I've noticed some scents don't work as well for me as others. I also hope the price point drops eventually because my partner and I blow through deodorant.

  • Clumpy, expensive, and darkens my armpits. Wasn't a very big fan but maybe I'm just allergic to the ingredients.

  • I’m updating my previous review as I tried this product again (the aluminum free version) and really like it. The first time I bought it I think it was defective because it was very clumpy and crumbly (maybe got too dry?). Anyways, I can recommend it now that I have had a better experience! They also have nice smells too.

  • Native products are good; the body wash and the cream are great. However, the deodorant does not work. At most, it makes you smell good for a little while, but once you start any type of sweat, it is over. I would suggest any of the body products from them, except the deodorant. Haven't tried the shampoo but I have curly hair so I most likely won't

  • I’ve tried a few of Native’s products and had mixed feelings. The deodorant, shampoo, and conditioner didn’t really work for me—I didn’t love the formulas or how they felt. That said, the body wash was totally fine! I appreciated that it’s a clean product with simple ingredients, and the price point is pretty reasonable. I like what the brand stands for, even if not everything has been a hit for me personally.

  • Didn’t love this one. I liked the idea of getting away from harmful chemicals in my deodorant but this one made me smell horrible and I’d frankly just use regular deodorant.

  • I love Native because their products are great for my sensitive skin and their natural ingredients leave me feeling healthy and clean after using their products. I love their deodorant and body washes!

  • Love the deodorant. I allergic to most deodorants but this brand works well for me. They have multiple scents and all of them are pleasant. The scents are light and not too strong, I think that’s worth mentioning for those with sensitive noses.

  • I tested natives sugar cookie deodorant. It smelt amazing but it’s not potent when it comes to fighting against sweat and body odor .

  • so expensive but their products smell amazing, especially a fan of their deodorant and body washes and I don't think I've tried anything else yet

  • I wanted this work so badly but unfortunately it doesn't and it's quite chalky too

  • I was so excited about this deodorant, but it makes me smell sweatier than if I didn't wear it. Very good smelling deodorant though.

  • I love love love native products, ive tried there body wash, deodorant, and shampoo and conditioner, i love there is no chemicals in it, so you can feel safe using it, I love the scents also, there more expensive but your health is worth every penny.

  • My fiance and I both started using native products over the last year. We both love the deodorant and all the different scents it comes in. I also use the body wash daily and it leaves me feeling clean and fresh.

  • I recently tried Native's Lavender & Rose deodorant, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The natural lavender scent is soothing and refreshing, without being too overpowering. It's the perfect balance of floral and clean. One of the things I love most about this deodorant is that it's free of aluminum, parabens, and harsh chemicals, which makes it feel much gentler on my skin compared to other brands. In terms of effectiveness, Native has done a great job. It kept me feeling fresh throughout the day, even during some light exercise. While it might not hold up as well during intense workouts, for everyday use, it's reliable. The smooth, creamy texture glides on effortlessly and leaves no sticky residue. If you're looking for a clean, natural deodorant with a calming fragrance, Native’s Lavender & Rose is definitely worth trying!

  • I have tried one body wash from native. My only issue with this brand is it is a bit pricey. But otherwise I would be interested in trying more products.

  • I love the scents, and they're great for everyday. I do find that when I wear them in more intense settings (I work leading hikes) they don't stand up as well as some bigger name deodorants, and they occasionally feel a little chalky going on, but honestly I still find them worth it
