I've been using Loftie's smart alarm clock for almost 5 years and have a lot of good things to say about it, but also quite a few let downs that I experienced in that time.
The good: A sleek, minimal design that looks great no matte where I put it still feels pretty fresh today.
A lot of great sounds (specifically brown noise) that have been super helpful when the bedroom is too quiet or there's too much noise going on outside of our apartment.
The bad: No OLED display, so the screen's edges are clearly visible making the product feel less premium.
Many of the sounds included on the device that come from nature often feel annoying and much to repetitive. For instance, the campfire sound has these loud crackling pops that occurring extremely frequently, doesn't seem realistic and not pleasant to listen to. The thunderstorm's thunder is heavily overshadowed by the rain, which wouldn't be terrible in most cases, but the rain has a pretty high/tinny frequency that feels like it'd be better suited for waking up rather than falling asleep.
The acrylic body scratches very easily, so there's quite a few markings around it.
The most obvious negative I've experienced with this clock is having set alarms not going off in the morning. This has only happened a handful of times for me, but a critical issue nonetheless. Not knowing when I can trust its most basic feature work is never a good thing.
So yeah I've had this for a while and it's mostly served me well, but I am going to start looking for a replacement sooner than later.
