You can't get more classic than a Boat and Tote bag. I prefer the medium size with short handles/no zip in green and carry mine everywhere. Highly recommend monogramming, preferably something fun.

My go-to bag for the summer is the Hunters tote bag - open top! It is rubber on the inside so if anything spills or leaks - easy clean up! There is an option to monogram the bag and a variety of colors. I have the large and extra large. The large is perfect for lake days, pool days, going anywhere with kids. The XL is good for traveling because the straps are a little longer which makes it more convenient to carry.

They used to replace any item for free! I loved my thigh-high boots from them. But I don't think they do this any more :( I also loved their plaid shirts and used them as jackets.

Good quality basics

I got my LL Bean Boots over a decade ago and they are still going strong! I wear them in the rain, in the garden, when I go camping, or just around town when the style fits. Really loving them and the brand.

Massive fan of their shoes though their bags are very popular as well. My bean boots have lasted 5+ years, and every year when my mom ordered the wrong shoe instead of a bean boot, she kept trying and trying again. She and I both swear by their house shoes as well.

These boots are an absolute classic! The quality is outstanding—durable leather, sturdy rubber soles, and excellent craftsmanship that truly lives up to the LL Bean reputation. They’re comfortable right out of the box and get even better with wear. The waterproof design is perfect for rainy or snowy days, keeping my feet warm and dry without feeling too heavy. The traction is great, and they provide solid grip even on slippery surfaces. They do run a bit big, so sizing down might be a good idea, but overall, these are my go-to boots for fall and winter. Definitely worth the investment!
