Both of my kids have LL Bean backpacks and lunchboxes. We really like the quality of those. However, in my experience, the clothing doesn't last. 

They used to replace any item for free! I loved my thigh-high boots from them. But I don't think they do this any more :( I also loved their plaid shirts and used them as jackets. 

My go-to bag for the summer is the Hunters tote bag - open top!
It is rubber on the inside so if anything spills or leaks - easy clean up!
There is an option to monogram the bag and a variety of colors. 

I have the large and extra large. The large is perfect for lake days, pool days, going anywhere with kids. The XL is good for traveling because the straps are a little longer which makes it more convenient to carry.

Beautiful heritage brand. Love their sweaters and their boat n tote bags. Nancy Meyers swears by their cotton sheets too, or so I read in NY Mag's The Strategist.

I've been buying LL Bean products since the late 1990s. The quality and longevity of the products are unparalleled. I'm happy that they expanded in the past several years to include plus sizes and to diversify their models in their catalogs and on their website. 

I’ve had a pair of short, fleeced line winter boots from LL Bean for a few years now and they have yet to disappoint. They’re very warm and comfortable and easy to slip on and off. Toes can get a little cold in extreme temperatures but hey, that’s with any shoe really. I also had to return a separate pair of boots which seemed to take a really long time to process but customer service was very helpful when I called to inquire 

Pretty much everyone that lives in New England owns something from LL Bean. My most recent purchase was a zip up lightweight flannel hoodie in beautiful scotch plaid pattern. It's my go to spring and fall lightweight jacket. It's super soft, well made and comfortable. You can't go wrong with LL Bean, they make quality stuff that lasts.

I have a bag from LL Bean and I will say the quality is amazing. I love the storage options and colors you can choose. One of the small luxuries of this brand is the embroidery which I like! LL Bean has been a household name for so long because of its quality products. 

The bag I get the most compliments on - bought the large tote and it's my go-to travel bag!


Incredibly well built tote. I got a custom embroidered, large Boat and Tote with the long straps and open top and it's hard to beat this tote for the price. The canvas is very thick - I'm not sure how many ounces it is but LL Bean claims that it can hold up to 500 lbs and it is thick enough that I don't doubt that at all. Adding a monogram was a really nice touch and gives you an even more luxe feel - all for under $50 (before shipping)!
