Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
Some of the flavors are impossibly thick no matter how much you dilute it with water. Issues with consistencies but when it’s good it’s good

Okay, folks, let's talk about Liquid I.V. 🥤💦 If you've ever felt like a houseplant in need of some serious hydration, this stuff is your life-saver! 💧 It's like a secret hydration handshake for those days when regular water just won't cut it. One word: GAMECHANGER. 🙌🚀
Does the job. Tasty. But way overpriced. There are just as effective options that are more affordable on the market.
Liquid IV is a game-changer for hydration! 💧💯 I was pleasantly surprised by how effective and convenient these hydration packets are

they are far too sweet and the purpose of curing any hangover is evaporated by the power of my immediate nausea. i’ve tried several times, but the taste is unbearable for my salty palette

I love Liquid IV. It's constantly stocked in my house. I feel infinitely better after a hangover or spending a long day sweating outside. It tastes delicious. I don't care that there's sugar in it. I think the better way to approach it is an alternative to Gatorade rather than a flavored water (which I feel many people associate it with.) I buy the giant packs and will continue to do so.
I love liquid IV! I am really bad about drinking water, and am chronically dehydrated, but this brand has helped so much! They have so many yummy flavors, the powder dissolves well, and I feel better after finishing it!

I never get on a flight without taking liquid IV. Keeps me hydrated and all that.
I don't love all the ingredients in liquid IV but it does the job and tastes good if nothing else is around. This is especially helpful when you have a hangover.

Liquid IV does the job and for that it gets 4 stars! I do think though that it doesn’t taste the best and maybe they should work on trying to make it taste a bit more pleasant.
Liquid IV is great and reliable. Works well, tastes pretty good, although it's a bit too flavorful for me so I only use half a packet and then worry I'm not getting the full effects. Love that they came out with the sugar free one, although I would say I still think LMNT is the best for sugar free hydration packets.

they are a bit expensive for what they are, and I wish that the sugar free version was available more but it's a really good electrolyte that works really well and doesn't taste like chemicals
An absolute lifesaver after a night of bad decisions, or a long day out in the heat and sun. Tastes great, and definitely helps me feel less dehydrated.
I'm not the best at drinking just plain water and at times I am in need of electrolytes and liquid iv is my go to.
Liquid IV is effective, but it has too much sugar. I prefer Nuun.
Wow these shockingly work! The first time I tried liquid iv was at my best friend bachelorette party, we all drank them through out the weekend and not a single one of us ever had a hangover. Very impressed since just looking at a beer in my 30s gives me a hangover -_-
It is a good source of electrolytes but the artificial sweetness of them all really threw me off.
I love Liquid IV! I take it with me whenever I know I'll be out in the heat for a long time and it keeps me feeling great and hydrated. I am very excited they came out with a sugar free option because my biggest concern was the amount of sugar in each packet.

This stuff saves lives. If you work outside, especially in the summer, having this in your water can make the difference between “I need to get out of the sun” and “I need to get to a hospital”. I wish they sold it in bulk to cut down on the plastic packaging, but it’s hard to fault something that helps so many people.
