  • I hate to give it to them. I really do. But it's good water and I like drinking it. Initially wrote this off as gimmicky. Water for sober dudes who miss beer. Whatever. I tried it for the first time at an event, open bar, including Liquid Death. And I was hooked. This was in a party environment; I wanted a break from drinking alcohol for a spell. It's a good amount of water, and it felt right holding a beer-like can (in terms of weight and feel) in the party context.

I don't care so much for the mango, in fact I'd rather just drink the plain. Not that I don't like sparkling water, but I prefer other sparkling water brands at this point.

  • It's water. What's not to like? Really this is just a smart marketing business.

  • I love Liquid Death. The branding is unparalleled, the concept is so simple we all wish we thought of it ourselves, and the distribution model (a non-alc option for concerts) is brilliant.

  • Eye catching packaging design and concept. It is a big can of sparkling water though.

    Feedback

    Smaller can sizes.

  • For whatever reason, I often get served Liquid Death at ticketed events (concerts, holiday parties, etc) in NYC. I've had both the still and sparkling cans. Keep in mind I've never purchased it.

I can't get deep into the weeds of aluminum vs plastic recyclability, but I like Liquid Death outside of its anti-plastic mission as well. The marketing is funny, the can is nice to read when you're bored or drunk, and I actually like that it looks like a beer can so that you can run around sipping from it and "partaking" in drinking without any alcohol. I think it's a good way to convince people to stay hydrated at parties and feels higher-end than a plastic water bottle. Is it necessary? No, but it's enjoyable and helps to encourage safer behavior and less social drinking pressure at parties. The water quality was normal (good).

  • As an avid fan of sparkling water, Liquid Death doesn’t disappoint. I also enjoy their flavored varieties, in particular the Lime one. Also the branding is very unique, especially since the rise of minimalism graphic design. It does have a cool, edgy feel without feeling too gimmicky. I do appreciate their mission behind their drinks and packaging, which is to help against the stigma of people who may not drink alcohol!

  • The idea is there, I just think that the quality of the seltzer and flavors could be greatly improved on.

    Feedback

the bubbles in this are reminiscent of a seltzer that has been left open for a couple of hours and the flavors taste very fake.

  • It's just water... had it a music festival. Love that it's not plastic. I think it's a little confusing that it is water, I had no idea what people were drinking when I saw people with the cans. So I don't 100% understand the branding

Make it more clear it's water perhaps? Unless that's defeating the point

  • I love everything about these waters. I have tried every flavor I could find -- lime is my favorite. BPA free cans. Better for you. Better for the environment. Hilarious/awesome packaging. Great conversation starter. I have gifted a few cans to just about everyone at my work place by now so no one thinks I'm drinking on the job... and also to inflate demand at my local grocery store to make sure we keep them in stock lol

I accidentally froze a few cans and the lid exploded clean off -- made for delicious icy. Perhaps if there is an environmental way to do it an freeze pop version would be fun to add to the mix over summer

  • I had this for the first time at a concert, and I will say something about holding an aluminum can quelled my need to hold an alcoholic drink. I actually really liked the taste too, prefer it over a Perrier or Acqua Panna.

  • At the end of the day, this is just water in an aluminum can. I tried both the still and sparkling water and didn't notice any particular about the taste. I appreciate that they branding is hilarious and using an aluminum can is better than a plastic bottle. Perfect for a day at the beach!

    Feedback

A variety of (natural) fruity flavor would be a nice upgrade

  • Tasty product and attractive packaging. Also just love the brand story! Genius.

Mango flavor was a little too sweet in my opinion.

  • My 6 year old is currently obsessed with liquid death. He thinks it is the funniest thing, and he's not wrong! Plus the water tastes good!

  • Brilliant! A streetwear company that dabbles in beverage. I'm obsessed with all of the merch they make. And as someone who will down 5 cans of sparkling water a day, this was a pretty cost effective solution for me. Liquid Death also provided a pretty sick party trick. My partner and I often host afters at our place, and people arrive in varying states. So easy to hand them a tall boy of sparkling water that looks and feels like they're holding a beer! I often used it to trick myself at the end of the night into keeping the party going while slowing down my own consumption.

I'm not an Amazon supporter—so additional ways to order online without going through Amazon would be great.
