Le Labo Reviews

Best of Thingtesting4.5

Le Labo delivers distinctive, long‑lasting fragrances that draw frequent compliments, according to reviews, yet opinions split on wearability and strength—some scents project for days while others fade quickly or feel overpowering. Reviews praise Santal 33, Another 13, Rose 31, Thé Noir 29, Matcha 26, and potent candles, plus personalized labels and refillable bottles; weaknesses include very steep pricing, occasional batch inconsistency and broken sample sprayers, some bodycare underperforming, and candles that soot or burn too fast.

  • I love love love this scent - I wish I could afford to bath myself in santal every day! I love the size of the products and that they travel super easily. And they are so cute! I wish it wasn’t so expensive!

  • I like how the ingredients they use are actually quite good, unlike some other fragrance companies with premium positioning. The hand cream is very rich since it’s mostly shea butter, with a strong basil scent. I’d recommend bringing it on subways to mask other smells, but not at meals since the sillage is rather powerful for a lotion and pretty long-lasting. Sadly, my favorite le labo products are the ones they make for hotels, not in their stores.

  • I love Le Labo’s candles and perfumes — the quality is incredible and the scents linger in the best way. I recently discovered Verbaine and it’s become a new favorite. The fragrances are definitely pricey, but they last for months (if not years), so the cost per wear ends up feeling reasonable.
