  • Velvety, ultra-creamy texture

  • Plentiful, well-distributed mix-ins
  • Impressive dairy-free options
  • Inconsistent flavor execution
  • Occasionally icy, grainy texture
  • Some flavors overly sweet

Jeni's Ice Creams earns rapturous reviews for rich, ultra‑creamy texture and inventive, true‑to‑label flavors like Brambleberry Crisp, Gooey Butter Cake, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle, confirming the brand is excellent. Reviews also flag downsides: pints are expensive, quality varies by flavor, and some report iciness or overly sweet/salty notes and occasional freezer burn from stores.

  • I am not big on ice cream but I love these flavors. Super great quality.

  • Jeni's is admittedly pricey for what you get ($9 a pint at my grocery store!) BUT the Birthday Cake ice cream is one of the best I've ever had. Gooey Butter Cake is a close second, and the Boston Cream Pie is great, too. The dairy-free Texas Sheet Cake was not the best though if you are looking for a vegan option - too sweet and overpowering with coconut given its made with coconut cream. regardless there are better dairy-free ice creams out there. But overall Jeni's is exceptional and worth the occasional splurge!

  • I appreciate the different more adventurous flavor combos! But for my personal taste, it's a little too sweet as compared to other artisan ice cream brands.

  • The gooey butter cake is sooooo good. It is expensive, but so delicious.

  • One of my favorite ice cream brands! I love the flavor options and that they have dairy free options as well! Only negative is it is a bit more expensive than other brands, but you definitely get your moneys worth!

  • Jeni's is my favorite ice cream on the market. It is creamy, the perfect texture, and the flavors are all delicious. My favorite flavor is the blackout cake, it is filled with decadent fudge and moist chocolate cake. To me, this is an elevated fudge brownie ice cream! Please try it, you wont regret it!

  • All of Jeni’s ice creams are devine. The pistachio macaroon is by far the best tasting pistachio ice cream I’ve ever had.

  • I love ice cream, especially unique and interesting flavors, and have wanted to try Jeni's for a long time due to all the good things I've heard. Finally did so during a trip to the East Coast last month, and was honestly a little underwhelmed. It was...mid. Tried the Brambleberry Crisp and there was too much vanilla and not enough berry. The cream is rich but the flavors are not bold or interesting enough to get your attention. For this price level, I expect the flavors to be standout and distinctive. Don't get me wrong, it was fine, just nowhere as good as I thought it would be. It's great if Jeni's is your local scoop shop, but I'll continue supporting my local ice cream shops, many of which offer tastier ice creams including pints for takeaway with much more exciting flavors.

  • Jeni's is great, fun, innovative (if you can call it that??) ice cream. Awesome flavors and not that sickingly sweet sugary taste like some ice creams have (Van Leeuwen, I'm looking at you). The biggest drawback is the price—$9 for a pint!! Hell naw, I go for the Ben & Jerry's on sale when I see that. But if you've got some dough to burn and you're craving something other than Cookie Dough, look to Jeni's.

  • The Brambleberry Crisp is my favorite flavor at Jenni's. I enjoy having a sweet treat after dinner, and even though I am a Texan, I love Jenni's more than Blue Bell.

  • amazing ice cream. rich and creamy. cool flavors.

  • Most delicious ice cream flavors!

  • Jeni’s takes their ice cream game seriously! With some of the most unique flavors, Jeni’s never disappoints. My husband is an ice cream snob, and their Brambleberry Crisp is his ultimate favorite. Highly recommend digging into a pint!

  • I only have tried the Darkest Chocolate (I’m not an adventurous dessert eater) and it is now my favorite ice cream EVER. Whatever they’re doing - I’m impressed. It’s rich enough to have just a bite and feel satisfied. It’s so so so good.

  • Tammy Ive cream got it at the store 😊, delicious and flowered

  • Jenis not only provides great ice cream but it was the place where my husband and I had the first conversations about getting married, therefore it is a brand that not only gives you a great experience with their innovative flavors but that helps to create memories!

  • I don't even really like ice cream, but wowie wow wow this stuff is delicious. Some ice creams with chunks go too hard into the add-ins, but I think Jeni's hits the perfect ice cream to "fun stuff" ratio. I tasted about six of these at a corporate work event and and was very much OVER the day and this ice cream helped bring me back to life. Did it taste better because I was hating the day and was very much in need of a treat? Quite possibly, but does it matter?

  • TOO GOOD. I think I'm addicted. It's delicious. I am making my way through trying all the Dairy Free flavors. So far, my favorite is the caramel pecan cinnamon buns - it's unreal. Even though it's dairy free, it's still super creamy and doesn't get icy like some other dairy free ice creams
