Intelligent Change earns strong reviews for journals that genuinely help users build mindfulness and gratitude routines, with The Five Minute Journal praised for simple, structured prompts, inspiring quotes, and beautiful linen design. Reviews also flag drawbacks: the app feels cluttered, paper can attract pet hair or bleed ink, prompts grow repetitive, and some products (like a Leonie Hanne planner) feel uninspired.

Love the way the five-minute journal is laid out, and it's super aesthetically pleasing
Quality, timeliness of shipping, thoughtfulness throughout the book outside of the templates.

I purchased journals for Christmas for my family members. received a 2020 version, despite the fact that we were headed into 2021.
Great journal for daily use
After contemplating getting the journal for a while, I finally made a purchase last year. A sceptic at first, I slowly started looking forward to using it every morning! Loved looking back at a few happy and a few sad inputs, great to reflect on at the end of the year. If you're looking to start a journal but don't know where or how to go about it, this is a great start! The format is super simple and the notes in the beginning give you a better understanding on why you should do it. Love stationary so I opted for the blush pink and it looks perfect on my night stand!

Have used the Five Minute Journal app for years and bought the hard cover copy for so many others. Absolutely love it.

Have had issues with the app but nothing that deterred me from using it.

I love the five minute journal in concept. The problem is that it felt a little repetitive day after day with the same prompts. Would love a five minute journal that had slightly different prompts so you didnt feel stuck when writing. The quality of the product / binding is quite nice.

I’ve been using Intelligent Change journals and they’ve really helped me stay grounded and focused. The prompts are simple but powerful, and it’s become a calming part of my day. It’s such a thoughtful way to build better habits and mindset.
They make lovely journals and notebooks. Great for gift giving. Their affirmation cards seem like a great add on if you buy a journal. Definitely worth a go if you are looking to start journaling or need a productivity boost.
I really am into these journals! They are so pretty and have great motivational points in all of them. The quality is really there, you get exactly what you pay for. I find them to be durable even tossed in my purse.
This is a great tool if you can use it consistently! I started doing this for a few months and it was a great tool but I fell off in doing it everyday. Love the idea - just need to get better on the personal habit side of things. I purchased through Amazon and am trying a new version now.
I love the quality of the books and the content inside feels really well thought out and easy to use. I feel it leans heavy on the expensive side which is the only downside.
5 min journal is perfect, and I love it so far. One of the commenters said the year date is wrong on here, it does say 20, but there’s also a line after to fill in that year (ex. 2022). I don’t know if they misread when looking into the journal, but it doesn’t say 2020 on every page. I would recommend this journal.

I wish they had a slightly larger version of the book as a left-handed person. The ink can often bleed.

Quick, easy, and definitely effective! The hardest part is remembering to do this every day.

Classic! The intelligent change gratitude journal's usually a bedside table companion during my most intentional, happy eras. It's equal parts fun and depressing to flip back to old journals to see intentions manifested, lost, and still a part of my self-sabotaging rituals. Either way. Great little gratitude journal.
I've used the five-minute journal for over a month now. It's a simple product, but very well made and thought out. It's the perfect tool to build a new habit and build a practice for gratitude. I haven't tried any other products but I've looked at their product range and I think they do a great job creating products that solve very specific and common problems to productivity. The prices are higher than a normal notebook, but the product quality is good. I think of the price as an investment to my productivity!
I love productivity journals and Intelligent Change has the best ones! I love the quality and feel of the journal as well as the prompts and structure of the journal.
Love the journal. Helps me feel good about myself and is fun looking back.

Feels a bit too repetitive after awhile. Wish there was slight variety.

I got this as a Christmas gift and I want to love it and I want to use it. I just... forget. I thought this would help me be more thoughtful of my days but there were too many days and nights where despite me putting it on my pillow to make sure I do it, I just didn't. This is obviously a user criticism and not one of the product.
The Five Minute Journal has been such a game-changer for my daily routine. The prompts are simple yet effective, helping me focus on gratitude and positivity even on hectic days. I love how it only takes a few minutes but leaves such a big impact on my mindset. The quality of the journal itself is beautiful—the linen cover and recycled paper make it feel premium and sustainable. If you’re looking to build better habits and boost your mood, this is an absolute must-have.
This keeps me grounded. Time for myself. I love it especially in the mornings.
