IGK Hair reviews and discussion

TikTok introduced me to IGK! Have tried several of their products (prep spray, smoothing spray, hydrating balm, and bond building dry mask). I think the 4-in-1 prep spray is my favorite so far - we love a multitasking product!

A few drops go a long way, and they keep my blonde from going brassy without having to use a full purple shampoo. I mix it into my leave-in or oil and it doesn’t change the texture. It helps in between hair appointments.

Recently bought this 4-in-1 heat protectant spray because of the reviews I read. It protects against 450 degrees F which is what I was looking for in a new heat protectant. I put it on my damp hair and straighten it once my hair’s dried. The liquid is a milky white, I’m not a fan of the smell but I don’t notice that it stays with that smell for long.

If used properly, this product does give my roots a good lift. The nozzle is great for precision, but the product does shoot out pretty quick which can result in too much product. I found that a little goes a long way, and short gentle sprays were more effective than a full depression. There is a grittiness to my hair after using, which I think is pretty standard for these types of volumizing sprays. The scent is light and pleasant. Although I like the product, I do feel that dry shampoo does about the same thing with other added benefits. If I had to choose between this product and my dry shampoo, I’d pick the latter.

These products feel so luxiourious & make my bleached hair feel so healthy & smooth. Highly recommend the hair oil & leave in conditioner if you are dying your hair & want to keep it looking natural & healthy.

I really like the Good Behavior spray and I like that you can purchase a trial size to try it out before going for the full size. It's great for travel as well. It smells lovely and really works to manage frizz!

IGK makes vegan, cruelty-free hair care products. I recently tried their Legendary shampoo and conditioner. They were silky and creamy, lathered well, and rinsed easily. It was a lovely, subtle scent. My hair was left soft, clean, and manageable and I received a compliment on how nice my hair looked.

I've been using the Beach Club texture spray for about five years now because it's a great texturizer for fine hair and incredibly affordable.

I recently started using the Jet Lag Weightless Dry Shampoo. I LOVE it. It truly is light, and it doesn't leave behind white streaks like other dry shampoos. It works so well and helps to make my hair appear freshly washed.

I dont know why this brand does not get more love! Their stuff is moderately priced, and works great! I have thick curly hair and their Rich Kid coconut oil gel is like special occasion level gel. Makes your hair dry faster. I have a leave in cream that is awesome too. Everything smells so luxe.

I tried their Legendary shampoo & conditioner. It had a nice texture and lathered well, but had little to no effect on my hair or how it felt after washing and conditioning. Like it did nothing. Disappointed in this product, but I will likely still try other products from the brand.
