Honey Mama’s earns largely enthusiastic reviews for delivering rich, truffle‑like chocolate that tastes indulgent while using clean, simple ingredients. Reviews praise standout flavors like Lavender Rose, Oregon Mint, Coffee Nib Crunch, and Tahini Tangerine, plus beautiful, giftable packaging; drawbacks include divisive flavors (especially florals), a soft, sometimes oily or gritty texture that must be refrigerated and melts quickly, and occasional notes of being overly rich or not sweet enough.

I have tried 3 different flavors, and I did not enjoy any of them. It is way too sweet, the product left an oily taste in my mouth, and the texture was not something I would substitute for chocolate.
This chocolate is so amazing and unlike nothing I’ve ever had before. I love chocolate but get bored with just the normal dark chocolate bars that always dry out in. Day after opening too. This chocolate has such interesting delicious flavors and a nice softer consistency. Sometimes biting into normal dark chocolate feels like you re going to break a tooth. Highly recommend! Wish I could get it in Europe 💗🙏.
I've loved Honey Mama's for years and haven't met a flavor I don't like. My favorite flavors are Lavender Rose and Oregon Mint. They're just rich and decadent enough to have a little piece - super satisfying. Purchasing tip: Whole Foods puts them on sale quite often!
I'm obsessed! Such unique flavors but I love the lavender and carrot cake. Clean ingredients and super decedent.
I tried the pumpkin spice and it was good but a little too rich. Also the serving size seems very small.
Feedback
Packaging was outrageous for how small the product was. I understand it has to stay cold but it seemed like way too much packaging

I tried a few different flavors and really really wanted to like it but I think this product just isn’t for me. The lavender flavor was my favorite and I would consider repurchasing, but the carrot cake and coffee ones were not to my taste.

Taste
First, the taste is amazing, it's creamy, whereas most chocolate bars are crunchy and not satisfying. It really feels like you're having a rich chocolate dessert. Pluys, there are lots of interesting flavors to switch things up. More importantly, I love that Honey mama's ingredients - I am able to have a daily dessert that makes me feel great.

It's for sure pricey for the amount of chocolate you're getting, but for me it's worth it. It also helps me eat it with more intention.
I really love the flavor of the pumpkin spice bar, it was so delicious. You can taste that ingredients are truly quality and it is unlike any other chocolate bar I've had. That being said, the texture was a tiny bit weird for me.

The ingredients are so clean and healthy, and it’s truly a treat!

It’s a little pricey for a snack.
Honey Mama's is good, but some of the flavors are just ok and a little too "healthy" tasting. Great packaging and branding, but I would probably reach for a different chocolate brand.
Love the mission, but I'd honestly still grab a Justin's peanut/almond butter cup or even a Perfect Bar for something sweet

Sometimes simple is better - no need to complicate with fancy flavors, but I can definitely see why people DO like it.
Super rich, great texture and flavor. I like that they have a salty sweet taste. You really only want to eat a 3rd of one, it's great snack. I tried the pumpkin spice and I want to try out others!
I stumbled upon Honey Mamas years ago at the Portland farmers market. It's so cool to see how they've grown and evolved since then. The Lavender Rose was my first love - which one of the founders also gave me the tip to melt some in my daily coffee. Brilliant! Tahini Tangerine is also a fave, but they're all great. A healthier, delicious, flavor-filled treat!

I wish there was a way to more effectively seal the chocolate in between servings so that it doesn't dry out. But otherwise, nothing!

I could easily eat the whole bar. The chocolate melts in your mouth and doesn't leave me feeling "heavy"
Feedback
It needs to be refrigerated.. so not great for travel.
I only had the carrot cake one. I thought it was wayyyy too gingery and I could only eat a little bite.
Feedback
Make is less gingery other wise it was quite pleasant.
OMG these are amazing

Soooo good. I generally wait til they are on sale at Whole Foods to buy them but they are a really nice treat. Their lavender flavor is really herbal and delicious.
I've tried the lavender rose flavor. I love the taste and texture of the chocolate, it's soft and creamy. It's quite rich, I only wanted a few bites at a time. So even though it was on the pricier side, it lasted longer. I wasn't the biggest fan of this flavor specifically. I liked the lavender but not the rose on top, I didn't like the texture with the chocolate. Packaging is really cute!
The best chocolate I've ever had... and I'm not even a huge chocolate fan. Great ingredients, delicious flavors, and could be considered 'healthy' (even though it's technically candy).
The peppermint choc truffle bar is amazing
