I have the Hatch Rest sound machine since my baby was born 2 years ago and still love it. Now I use it to teach him when to get out of bed depending on some colors we taught him to recognise. Good investment. Good quality. Easy to control with the app.

Maybe additional sounds or an api with Calm app to get some sounds from them?

I love the simplicity of the design, nice to have an actual clock in my bedroom rather than relying on my phone (unanticipated perk). In the winter months I really enjoy the artificial sunrise, however doesn't make a difference in the summer, maybe if you used blackout blinds. I love the sleep noises and gentle alarms. Lots of room for improvement in terms of additional features and user friendliness.

SO much potential here. First the app connectivity could be more consistent. I'd also love if there was a snooze feature for the sound of the alarm in the morning, I like to have the light feature but don't want to hear the alarm continue. Also would be very nice to be able to use it as a speaker so I could listen to my morning news from the Hatch.

Love it, yet another Shark Tank brand that I have been hooked by but it has been an essential part of our 10 month old's early life. Functionally and Aesthetically please as well as easy to travel with.

While I originally really liked this product, I've found that I use it less and less overtime because I a.) don't like that you have to pay for nighttime stories/meditations beyond the one they give you b.) just end up relying on my phone's alarm

The hatch + baby monitor is super solid. It does what it needs and the fact that it also is rechargeable has come in very handy.

We only really use it as a sound machine so it's probably a little expensive for that need.

We have two of the Hatch lights, one for each of our kid's rooms. I love that you can adjust the colors, sounds and volume from our phones.

This product has sooo much potential. I'll start with what I love: red light at night plus soothing background noise such as light rain. (Once I'm actually ready to shut my eyes I turn the light all the way down but keep the white noise). In the AM, it's amazing to wake up to the "natural" sunlight paired with chirping birds (since I sleep with blackout blinds). That said, the app is SO finicky & continuously logs the actual device offline, leading to frustration/bad UX. The device itself I would give 5 stars if it weren't so reliant on the app.

The app/device/wifi communication could use some serious improvement. I basically can't use 95% of the features because I've gotten so frustrated with having to reset it all the time, etc. I'd love to see less reliance on the app + more flexibility with the app. Eg: what if I want to listen to a meditation one day without going through setting up a whole routine? The "routines" idea is fun/unique but it feels limiting at the moment. Also, what if I wanted to play my favorite nighttime playlist on Spotify? Not possible. I get what they're trying to do with the recurring subscription revenue but I think that should come later once everyone falls in love with the device first (and once the app is more developed). Would also love to see a version that doesn't need to remain plugged in at all times.
