Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, no‑makeup makeup staples like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the universally complimented Glossier You fragrance, which many call a signature scent. However, reviewers flag inconsistent makeup payoff and longevity, polarizing skincare efficacy, packaging flaws (leaking body oil, cracking lipstick caps, messy Cloud Paint tubes), reformulation disappointments (Balm Dotcom, You perfume), limited shade range, and some products feeling sheer, basic, or short‑lasting.

I love their cloud paint but otherwise I think some of the products aren't my favorites - packaging and brand are super cute though!
Glossier is a master of hype and fomo. They're like Supreme for millennial women. But - they do have some great items in their line. The lash slick mascara is absolutely wonderful. I also really enjoy the Lidstar eyeshadow for a one-and-done swoop of color that's really easy, versatile and carefree. I can do without the brand's marketing tactics, but I do really enjoy these products.
I'm obsessed with the perfume. The solid perfume is perfect to travel with. The skin care are just okay, I didn't see a difference when using the Milk Jelly Cleanser nor the toner. The only makeup I'd recommend is the cloud paint, it's natural and buildable.
I've loved every item I've purchased from glossier, I love their products and transparency.
Cloud Paint blush goes on smoothly and delivers a very natural "flush". It is also buildable for a more dramatic look. It is easily the most natural looking cheek color I have ever used.
Enjoyed the instore experience very much! Products didn't feel that special, unfortunately! Got lip balms, and moisturisers. But did love the cloud paint blushers! Would recommend the cloud paint blushers for sure!
Disappointed in a number of their reformulations over the past year - the perfume used to be my go to and now smells completely different. The reformulation of balm dot com is grainy as well. I also think the quality has taken a hit since being offered at Sephora.

CLOUD PAINT 👏👏👏
Glossier has lost it's charm. I used to wear almost exclusively Glossier, but their formulation has changed for the worse. I can find better, cheaper alternatives of every product.
smells soooooooo good. need this scent in a candle immediately. want to smell it for the rest of my life.

I recently purchased the Glossier Cloud Paint Cheek Color and I have to say, I am absolutely in love with it! The texture is so smooth and creamy, making it incredibly easy to apply and blend in with my fingers. The color is also gorgeous and buildable, so you can achieve a subtle flush or a bolder pop of color depending on how much you apply. What I love most about this product is that it gives me a natural-looking flush that lasts all day, without feeling heavy or cakey on my skin. Overall, I highly recommend the Glossier Cloud Paint Cheek Color to anyone looking for a versatile, easy-to-use blush that looks beautiful and lasts all day.
love the products
It’s been a couple of years since I’ve bought from Glossier — I liked their mascara at the time, but didn’t love it enough to repurchase. The scents and colors of the balm dot com were really nice — I especially liked the wild fig one — and I still have a couple of them years later, despite using them pretty regularly. Good products but I never fully understood the huge following.
I would never buy this brands makeup again. I actually got most of Glossiers makeup in a recent fab fit fun box and only used the makeup twice before throwing it away. The mascara especially does not lengthen your lashes at all. It’s dry. It leaves little makeup specs on your face throughout the day.
I will always stay loyal to Boy Brow. Have heard they have reformulated perfume and products over the years but Boy Brow is the one makeup product I have rebought 3x now.
I will never stop raving about Glossier, specifically their You perfume. This has been my signature sent since high school and I’m still not sick of it. It’s really true that it smells different on everyone which I think is the coolest thing! The bottle is a bit expensive but it lasts be at least a year.
I like the perfume. It's nice, light and fresh. I prefer a more mature smell but I can definitely see this working for somebody in their twenties and below.
My favorite makeup brand. It’s perfect for skincare as makeup.
As a beauty content creator, I've had my fair share of experiences with Glossier. I love the vibes, I love, the simplicity and the character. Their Boy Brow, their cheek paints, and their lip balms? 10 out of 10, can't live without them! As much as I adore their products, I've noticed some inconsistencies in quality across different lines. It's a bit of a hit or miss sometimes, which can be frustrating when you're expecting the same quality all round. Price-wise, they're leaning towards the higher side for a 'trendy' brand, which makes me think twice before splurging. (I can't help but think its a marked up version of Cerave). And speaking of improvements, I'd love to see Glossier expand its makeup range to include more shades, especially for darker skin tones. In a nutshell, Glossier has its highs and lows. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more consistency in quality and a broader range of shades that cater to all skin tones. Here's hoping Glossier continues to evolve and address these areas!

I like the old formulas of the lip balms as they are hydrating and moisturizing to the lips. They are much better than the new ones, in which I don’t find the same level of hydration. Though, the newer formula doesn’t separate as much as the old one.
