Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, no‑makeup makeup staples like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the universally complimented Glossier You fragrance, which many call a signature scent. However, reviewers flag inconsistent makeup payoff and longevity, polarizing skincare efficacy, packaging flaws (leaking body oil, cracking lipstick caps, messy Cloud Paint tubes), reformulation disappointments (Balm Dotcom, You perfume), limited shade range, and some products feeling sheer, basic, or short‑lasting.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
Glossier me perfume is delicious, fresh and professional. Not top strong or offensive. Beautiful packaging

I’ve tried a couple different serums, the super pure with niacinamide and zinc, and the super glow with vitamin c and magnesium. It’s one of those things we’re you don’t notice if it’s working right away or not. But after a couple weeks I’ve noticed my skin was less bumpy and I like pairing the super glow in the morning with my spf for extra sun protection. My skin tends to be dry so I do like to pack on the future dew which adds a thick layer of protection/shine after applying makeup. I rub it in my hands first and lightly tap it into my skin and it gives a soft supple skin boost. Only if I’m doing a no makeup look. I really appreciate the packaging. The glass bottles goes well on my counter. I also bought my sister the pink glossier hoodie for her birthday and she loves it. The quality is very nice for the price.
I have been loving all of the product I have, very minimalistic, simple but still fells luxurious! You can tell the spent time thinking about the product and packaging!

Give more description on there two perfumes, the liquid one and balm…
Inside Store experience was normal, I missed the OG pop up experience

Currently Obsessed with the brown mascara and the purple eye liner! TOP
I obviously hopped on the glossier wagon, along with so many others, years ago. Their products are cute, and they nail their fragrances/lip balm flavors. Could definitely pass on the convoluted store experience though.

Not a fan of their reformulated products! Seems like they haven't perfected the whole clean beauty thing.
This brand is one of my favorites for natural, minimal makeup that can be built up into more defined looks. Their products are hydrating, especially their lip products, and have great color payoff. The You perfume is perfect for layering and isn't too strong. Their eye makeup remover is gentle and hydrating, but doesn't sting your eyes. I love that they took the feedback of their balms and updated the packaging.

Now that Glossier is in Sephora, the accessibility has skyrocketed. However, going to their stores is an experience and I would recommend it for the sales associates knowledge of product alone. Be sure to test their products because some do have scent that I found off putting, but others love.
I think the best Glossier product is the balm dotcom. It's great as a sleeping lip mask at night as well because it'll stay on til you wake up. I do love the minimalistic aspect of the products and Glossier really started the "no makeup makeup" trend but, imo there are better skincare options at better price points. Nothing bad per se with any of the products so, it's great if you're just getting into skincare.
Amazing experience in store

The priming moisturizing helped clear my acne! I love these products and their packaging.
love the cloud paint! the boy brows are ok, but don’t help with filling in the sparse brows more to the centre of my face - but anything besides a pencil can’t seem to do the trick. not really into the priming moisturizer, it feels too thick for me.

Overall love these products, affordable pricing, great packaging and seamless online and in-store shopping experience.

The mascara and tinted moisturizer are not very effective. The mascara is very subtle and flakes easily. The moisturizer is very very light, doesnt do much to cover up redness. Does add a bit of glow though!
I have bought most of their product line, and I am consistently impressed with their products. The highlights for me include the Boy Brow, Glossier You, and the Lash Slick. Boy Brow does the best job at help with fluffy brows and Lash Slick is one of the few mascaras that isn't clumpy or flaky, and gives a very natural look. Glossier You has become my signature scent, and I am continually asked about what perfume I'm wearing. It is fresh, but also has some deeper notes that make it a little more mature than just a floral scent.

I wish their products were bigger! I have to continually buy Boy Brow and Lash Slick, and I wished they lasted me a little longer.
I like a lot of glossier products and of course love their simple packaging. The bomb.com lippie is a must have and I love many of the colors. I also really like the mascara. And of course - the best product in my opinion- is the perfume. It smells amazing and matches you in a great way.

Great blushes, best perfume ever. Everything feels so fresh and clean. Stopped being innovative
I received my first Glossier product as a gift from a family member. It was their cleanser, and it's now fair to say that I'm hooked. I wouldn't look elsewhere for a cleaner. Their dotcom balm is fantastic. The cherry flavour is like heading back to the 90s, and has a really nice subtle tint to it. The birthday cake flavour is frankly too delicious to be a lip balm, and I've bought it as many a present now.

If they used more sustainable packaging they'd be getting a five stars from me. Product-wise they're pretty flawless.
great brand if you're into minimal and subtle makeup.

i absolutely love their cloud paints and one tube will last you 5ever. i would pass on the skincare, but cannot recommend the perfume more than enough. its my favorite everyday perfume and is a great base for layering.
Love this brand another great brand to keep up with skincare and makeup without breaking the bank.

The product was great as always and this time I had to call customer service about something that was missing, but they attended me quick and replaced the item immediately

As others have noted, some Glossier products are great, and others are a bit more mediocre. Frankly even though some of the products are mediocre, I keep buying anyway because my brand loyalty is so high - Glossier is great at that. My favorite products are the You perfume and the skincare line (cleanser/moisturizer/sunscreen/serums/FutureDew/lip balm). I also have almost every product of the makeup line, but agree with others that the makeup products aren't all that distinctive - they're mediocre additions to my makeup collection, but my real favorite makeup products are from other brands at Sephora.
Really gorgeous makeup! Loved the little pink bag it came in, and the sleek aesthetic packaging. I bought cloud paint in "eve", which was a really nice berry shade, It makes a nice blush/lip color/eyeshadow, and gen g in "fuzz" and "leo", both brownie/pinks. They gave a very gentle matte color and didn't feel like I had slathered on a thick lipstick, also very flattering on my double lip line. Big fan of Glossier!

I only wish they were a bit less pricey, the products aren't quite worth the money, but it's a lovely splurge or gift, with a very clean, luxury feel. I would recommend waiting for sales :)
I live for glossier. I could never live without skintint or boybrow. A fan forever!

I have mixed feelings about Glossier overall. On one hand, there are a couple staples that I use almost every day, including the Glossier You perfume (I have never been a perfume wearer, but I love that this one feels pretty gender neutral, smells a bit different on each person, isn't necessarily flowery or too strong) and Haloscope. On the other hand, I know there were allegations of mistreatment and toxic work culture in the past, so I've been a bit skeptical about supporting the brand in general. I also find that the prices of some of the (smaller) products are a bit higher that what I would hope for. I also have a had a hard time with skin tone matching with products like the Stretch Concealer. The bubble wrap packaging is fun, but I always feel guilty making purchases because I know it's not particularly eco-friendly :(
