Glossier delivers an easy, “no-makeup makeup” look that works for many, according to reviews of Glossier, with standouts like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, Stretch Concealer, Milky Jelly Cleanser, and the You fragrance earning repeat buys and compliments. However, reviews also flag inconsistent skincare efficacy, very sheer coverage, shade-range limitations, packaging flaws (leaky tubes, cracking caps, tiny Boy Brow), reformulation concerns (Balm Dotcom, You longevity), and some products that fade, flake, or feel sticky.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
Glossier is a beauty brand that excels in creating simple, dewy, and natural-looking products. Their makeup and skincare focus on enhancing your features rather than masking them. Standouts like the Boy Brow and Cloud Paint are effortless to use and deliver great results. However, some products may feel overpriced for their size. Overall, it’s perfect for those who love a minimalist, “no-makeup” makeup vibe.
I love their perfume and recently they came out with two additional perfumes that are both really good. Highly recommend recommending before Black Friday is over.
I've been purchasing Glossier products for almost a decade now! I fell in love with the brand first — their values, how they hero real people and realistic beauty standards, and the way they would drum up excitement before launching new products. I used to be more brand-loyal but I'm now more product-loyal. There was a visible shift in the brand when Emily Weiss stepped down, and the sense of community was no longer there. Most of their older skincare products are stronger imo — boy brow, milky jelly cleanser, and the You perfume are the items I would repurchase. They don't seem to be innovating as much as before.
I love the travel lotion! It’s the perfect, thin size to fit in your bag or purse, and smells so good! I will definitely buy again once I run out :)
Loved the scent of You however it wears off very quickly and is very light. I would love more products to come out with this scent so it is easy to layer the scent. I would recommend this scent.

I am IN LOVE with the packaging of Glossier. Although, the actual product caused me to breakout but left a nice glowy, dewy feel on my skin, that I loved!
I wish I could say their products suck because their fans are really annoying, but some Glossier products are quite nice. Definitely overhyped though! I still can't believe people line up outside the Soho store in NYC.
I absolutely love the You perfume! But, I feel like it has less staying power than before? I have both the spray and solid and have noticed it doesn’t last as long as previous batches I’ve had.
I have tried the balm dot com and the solar paint. I love both of them. The balm dot com is one of the best lip moisturizers I have. My sister tried them and now she has joined the glossier bandwagon. The solar paint is really user friendly and blends so easily. It gives the perfect bronzy look. I’ve heard highly about this brand and can agree thus far with everything I’ve tried so far. Glossier is on the pricier side for me but sometimes I get lucky and find them at tj maxx.
I bought a lipgloss (clear) from them, and also a hoodie and I loved the gloss! It’s simple and wasn’t sticky like alot of other brands and the hoodie fit very snug to too loose or too tight but right! I got a mango balm dot com and it smelt amazing and felt amazing on my lips as well would highly recommend this brand. Only thing I was disappointed about is when I wanted this water bottle and I ordered it while it was in stock and when my order popped out on my email it wasn’t on there. So I reached out to them and told them the issue and they were sorry but the system glitched and they had ran out and in return have me a 25 off coupon to use as a sorry and inconvenience

CLOUD. PAINT. the best in the industry: highly pigmented, easily blendable, long lasting, and the colors are GORGEOUS. berry reds, neon pinks, peachy browns, soft lilac, etc. the buildability for each shade on different skin tones is amazing, especially with all the other liquid blush competitors in the market. my every day make-up is glossier's dusk on the cheeks, mascara, and brow gel. easy, effortless, and i always feel great. honorable mentions are their face milk jelly and lash slick.
glossier is alright, I LOVE some products and others are meh. the perfume is amazing, as is the lip balm and boy brow. their gimmick is their cute minimal packaging and pigmentation and sometimes it feels like I didn't put anything on!

Nice!
I love this scent it is very peppery so keep thst in mind - I do think once it sits on the skin for some time it kind of warms up to the skin and I end up loving the smell
I LOVE THEIR LIPGLOSS
Christmas gift turned out to be a cool memorable product.
According to Tiktok, Glossier is definitely past its prime, but as a long-time dabbler in their products, I still find myself falling for their cute products and marketing. Things I've liked: boy brow, brow flick, cloud paint. Things that have been meh: balm dot com, haloscope, generation g lipstick. Also purchased their makeup bag and classic pink hoodie but phased them out a long time ago--just not for me! These days I tend to go for truly clean makeup brands and rarely find myself repurchasing Glossier.
I recently revisited my tube of cloud paint in "puff" and I cannot believe I ever stopped using her! The blush blends so easily and give such a natural flush. The product does not last all day but that is to be expected with "no makeup makeup".
I started buying glossier from the beginning and always loved the brands packaging and unique product launches. I’ve tried most things over the years but I have never re purchased or continued to use any of the products. The boy brow was the only thing I did re purchase, but the price has put me off and I find another option for cheaper.
Their old lip balm formula was amazing but their new formula leaves much to be desired. I stocked up on the old version before the switch but I really hope they go back to the old formula that everyone loved.
