  • Inconsistent, confusing sizing
  • Thick, less breathable fabric
  • Leggings sliding or stretching

Girlfriend Collective earns largely positive reviews for durable, size‑inclusive activewear with rich colors, supportive Paloma and Tommy bras, and long‑lasting OG/compressive leggings; many say the brand is good and pieces hold up for years. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, leggings that can run thick, slide down, or pill/lose shape over time, variable quality across lines, and some styles lacking breathability or support.

  • I love a sustainable brand that combines good practices with nice design. That combo can be hard to find, but Girlfriend Collective hits it out of the park for activewear. I love my exercise dresses from them – they feel so high quality and have a good amount of compression for athletic activities. Wish I could afford to buy more! 😅

  • Their mission is impressive, but I found their products to be just ok. I bought a romper and I do wear it, but I don't feel compelled to revisit their website/make any additional purchases. So, if you are eyeing something specific, I say go for it but beyond that it is just ok.

  • I still have my first pair of gf leggings from when they gave them away for the price of shipping. These bad boys hold up. The leggings from the luxe line is probably my favorite pair of leggings ever. I got a pair on sale four years ago and they’ve held up so well. I do sometimes worry they’re a bit greenwashed but overall they seem go to greater lengths to be sustainable and ethical than the majority of other brands. They’re not cheap but you get what you pay for and their clothes are easy enough to get on sale and worth the investment.

  • Such a great activewear brand. Their pieces are super comfy and flattering, and I’ve had some of their stuff for 4+ years but they still look and feel good quality. A bit on the pricey side but I think it’s worth it, especially since they are on the sustainable side.

  • I literally got two pairs of these leggings way back in 2016 when they were giving them away for free on instagram and they're still in great shape. They can run a little warm, but that's what the shorts options are for :)

  • This brand has really cute designs and the material is super soft, plus super sustainable. They’re great for lounging around or going to the gym/walk/hike. Their leggings I’ve had are pretty heavy compression leggings, so if that’s what you’re looking for these are great and material stays a high quality even after washes. Personally I didn’t love how tight they were, I have a sensitive tummy so I ended up giving them away. But their shirts and buttery and I love that they have so many options! Cute colors too.

  • I wear my GFC Fanny pack literally every single day. I don’t know how i lived without it!! And their active wear sets are supreme too soooo cute, comfy, and flattering. Definitely prefer them over other athleisure brands.

  • started buying girlfriend sets four years ago, and everything has still held up perfectly over time. their colors and designs are always on point, their fabrics are just amazing, and their marketing is genuine and inclusive. will keep buying forever.

it's def worth waiting for your ideal color/fit to come back into stock, since their products last for so long and you don't wanna be stuck with a slightly off pair of leggings for the next decade.

  • Good fit for petite girls, really soft stretchy fabric, and really cute styles. I docked one point for the price but honestly still worth it

  • I love the quality of these clothes, they’re all so soft and comfy and have a really luxurious look to them in my opinion. Overall the only downside was the shipping time, since they focus on sustainability their HQ is in Seattle but they ship directly from the manufacturer so it takes awhile for the consumer to get the product but it’s worth the wait!

    Feedback

I think it would be beneficial for the brand to be more transparent about where they’re shipping from and how long it might take. I think it’s worth the wait but it was very confusing initially when I ordered to have to wait so long

  • Great leggings! Soft and comfortable and stay up. Great compression, but not too much that you can't move.

I first tried these leggings a few years ago and was impressed back then. I am due to try a new pair in a different style soon. The only thing I didn't love was the way they fit around my hips, so I'm excited to try a new version or different style.

  • I really like this brand! Everything I've gotten from them has held up very well in the wash and I've worn them for years without much degradation. All pieces are quite durable. Only thing is I feel that the sizing runs slightly small but it could be just amazing compression lol or personal preference. Overall they're the only activewear I've owned which hasn't stretched or otherwise lots its shape over the years. Would recommend.

    Feedback

Personally I think the compression in their compression products is really strong so I'd size up.

  • Absolutely love the quality of my sports bra and leggings. I’m also very happy with the range of sizes that is offered. It is so nice to be able to gift matching sets for my friends in the variety of sizes. The colors are nice and often well out quickly. Would like more styles but other than that overall I’m in love with this brand.

  • Love the GF collective brand and their mission. I have socks, undies, sport bras, workout pants, bikini and jacket from them. I found that sizing can be a little tricky as in some styles of bras you could be one size and in another style I would have to size up. Other than that customer service is helpful although be prepared it takes a long time for things to get shipped ( not sure if that was bc of covid)

  • Obsessed with the mission and quality of Girlfriend Collective! I have two of their exercise dresses and one pair of bike shorts. They use recycled materials, give great discounts, and the quality of the clothing is amazing. 100% worth the money.

  • Very cute and sustainable! I have a sport skirt of theirs in a light green color I love.

Tried the Bianca top once and wasn't for me, matcha colorway is not quite as it appears online but was a limited drop anyway.

  • LOVE Girlfriend Collective! I have so many leggings from them and a bunch of other clothes from t-shirts, long sleeves, bras, vest, sweatpants, the skort, dress, all amazing. My go-to clothes during early pandemic stay at home times (and even now). Their reset collection is my current fav and want literally everything!

  • I really enjoy my pieces from GF especially the float line (which is softer, Lululemon align type material). Everything is comfortable and fits well and is quite size inclusive. I will say it does stretch out fairly easily and loose it’s shape.

  • Have several items from girlfriend collectible! Would definitely recommend to a friend. -Their sets are great and have a variety of colors -Size inclusive, have sport bras that actually work for a larger bust -Great quality, holds up well over time

    Feedback

-Over time the leggings have become a bit stretched out which can be expected

  • My first encounter with Girlfriend Collective was in 2016 when they did their $20 pair of leggings to launch the brand. I still have them, without a tear in sight and only very slight pilling. Since then, I have continued to purchase a few new pairs of leggings every year. I was recently disappointed, however, when I purchased a few ribbed and brightly colored styles, and found that they were see-through. I won't be able to wear these to the gym since they're definitely not going to pass a squat test! Given that they were on sale, they're not eligible for returns. Also, they don't make any bras for smaller people who are more endowed!

    Feedback

Please don't make see-through leggings. It feels as though the rush to push out new products and colors all the time is misaligned with the idea of the brand being sustainable. Please consider making bras and swimsuits for smaller people with big chests (see: Parade).
