Reviews mention

  • Chic, luxurious packaging
  • Complex, bitter flavor profile
  • Versatile mixing options
  • Convenient, tasty canned spritzes
  • Punishingly bitter aftertaste
  • Murky, cloudy appearance
  • Short post‑open shelf life
  • Inconsistent flavor distinctness

Ghia earns polarized reviews yet proves effective for bitter, botanical non‑alcoholic sipping; many praise its complex, Campari‑adjacent flavor, chic packaging, and canned Le Spritz (especially Ginger and Lime & Salt) for recreating a cocktail ritual, while others find the taste punishingly bitter, murky, or one‑note and say it works better mixed. Reviews also note standout unboxing and gifting appeal but call out inconsistencies across flavors, short shelf life once opened, and sediment/cloudiness in the bottle.

  • I absolutely love Ghia! I tried the sodas and the aperitif. I enjoyed the soda's however felt they were very similar in flavor to the aperitif. Ghia's website has a host of great recipe ideas that are fun, easy, and luxurious. I really enjoyed being able to drink a cocktail without alcohol.

I think a screw top on the Aperitif would be a great improvement to the cork!

  • As someone who doesn't drink, this is a very nice option to have if you're looking for something fancier than your average carbonated beverage. The blend of the ingredients in their 'Le Spritz' aperitif packs a pleasant punch, with flavors like rosemary, yuzu, elderflower and fig. I recommend this product to those interested in trying something new, especially if you're someone who loves aromatic beverages.

  • I enjoyed Ghia's newly formulated aperitif. It's great to enjoy with a big ice cube and seltzer in a cocktail glass. It makes the seltzer more interesting than a typical LaCroix or Spindrift. That said, Ghia is not cheap and not in many retailers so I default to getting kombucha, seltzer water, or tea instead. The taste is great but it's tough to pay the high price when there are lots of other great tasting non-alc beverages around for far cheaper.

  • I didn’t really feel anything :( cute branding and yummy drinks. I just didn’t feel that calm from booze that I would usually get.

  • absolutely love this brand! the lime&salt can is my favorite and is stunning on a hot day. it reminds me of a tequila soda with added bitterness of the lime. every now and then i add a touch of my CBD tincture to add some buzz. i would highly recommend this brand for anyone who is low/no alc.

  • I really wanted to love Ghia! I got a box of the main Ghia aperitif and 4 cans, and absolutely loved the unboxing experience, packaging, and overall branding. They definitely provide everything needed to make a successful cocktail based off of their little recipe book etc, but for me, it just wasn't a great flavor. I'm always looking for healthier ways to sip and entertain, but unfortunately the flavor is lacking overall. Lovely company and branding though!

I wish the tonics had a better taste overall. My main issue with non-alcoholic aperitifs or drinks that are popping up now is that I feel like they try to replicate this interesting taste or "bite" of alcohol but end up kind of just tasting like..dirt? Unsure, but would love to give it another go in the future if they roll out more flavors!

  • Both spritz flavors are amazing! Especially love the ginger and am now super excited to try to new lime & salt. Have always been a huge fan of the brand's aesthetic and story which are just as amazing as their products!

    Nothing at all.

  • I love the flavor of this The bottle looks great on a bar cart and in drinks with it's color. It has a refreshing bitter taste with ginger which I really enjoy and I appreciate the ingredients overall.

  • I am obsessed with Ghia!!!! First of all the branding and packaging is an experience in itself. Next, the actual product is delicious. I love the bitter taste with natural flavors and hints of ginger. I would drink Ghia every day if they were a bit more affordable.

  • Absolutely love the branding and packaging, even the shipping box was full of details and the whole unboxing was delightful, the product itself has a nice flavor and does work as an aperitif w/o alcohol or as a mixer but for me it was a little heavy on the pomegranate juice so it kind of overpassed all the other flavors. Once you open the bottle it has a 2 weeks expiration date, but since packaging i liked more the packaging than the actual drink mine is still standing in my bar set up after a couple months.

Be aware its more on the natural juice side than in a regular aperitif (as campari) texture. Not that is a bad thing though.

  • I am not an aperitif girlie, but I really loved Ghia as a not so bitter addition in replacement of an aperol. Tasted great when added to ginger beer or sparkling water, as. Non-alcoholic alternative.

Curious about the actual shelf life of the product, but in general a good beverage and that didn’t stop me from finishing the bottle. Even repurposed to keep store simple syrup :D

  • a staple for the sober & sober-curious everywhere! i’ve never liked the taste of alcohol, and ghia mimics the tart/bitterness, so it truly makes mocktails feel like a alcohol substitute instead of a juice, etc.

biggest complaint is that it must be refrigerated after opening, as the bottle is so beautiful i want to display on my bar cart!!! packaging is equally visually intriguing—this experience is worth the higher price point, as well as the high concentration of flavor.

  • I only came to love aperitifs recently so I was excited to try the classic Ghia. I mixed it with some rose sparkling water, rose syrup and violet syrup and it turned out so good! I would 100% drink this on nights where I just want to drink something non-alcoholic. I think it'd also be a good addition to anyone's dinner party.

  • I love the OG spritz! So uniquely flavored for when I want a special treat. Love the petite size and it’s usually hard for me to finish a full 12 oz.

  • I've been a fan of Ghia from the jump. It's a truly delicious and satisfying drink, and one of the few non-alcoholic beverages out there worth keeping in your at-home bar. It also makes a great hostess/dinner party gift. Also their Ghianduja is INSANE. I have to hide it from myself, otherwise I will eat it straight from the jar.

  • Ghia Ginger is THAT girl! Don't act surprised when you see me slipping one of these out of a small Telfar bag.

In a perfect world I'd be able to find cans of Ghia stocked in a vending machine at a gas station in the middle of nowhere... I hope that this beverage is as easy to come by outside of major cities like NYC and LA, I often forget that I'm living in a bubble!

  • tbh I was unimpressed by the flavor of the Ginger Ghia. This might be in part because I don't really like the taste of tonics (alcoholic or otherwise) but it was just bitter and a bit watery. Having said that, the packaging is super cute and I especially loved the box design that the 4 cans came in.

The flavor could use a bit of an upgrade in my opinion!

  • Massive Ghia fan. I love how their beverages are so uniquely their own flavor and not trying to be something else. The original spritz is my favorite, you you really can’t go wrong across the entire brand.

  • Ghia is the first Aperitivo I have ever tried. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed drinking it the flavor profile is amazing and combinations you can create are limitless. Couple things that attracted me to Ghia is that it is non-alcoholic. The branding is the cherry on top!

  • Ghia is an elevated non alcoholic spirit alternative. Bittersweet orange with a grape base. I enjoy ghia alone on an ice cube or with soda water. A delicious spritz sans hangover!
