Cotopaxi is a favorite outdoor brand, praised for its sustainability focus and unique color schemes. Customers love their durable, lightweight, and well-designed bags, especially the Allpa 42L Travel Pack, and their customer service. However, some customers noted rapid wear and tear, especially in the form of flaking design decals and easily damaged or stained material. There were also complaints about the warranty not covering certain issues.

I have only shopped in store for this brand. I think the mission is incredible, I love that they are working to help support people living below the poverty line. They have lots of colorful outdoor gear and clothes, which can often be hard to find. I have their packing cubes and a fanny pack, both of which used scraps from other items to create a completely unique product that's eliminating waste at the same time!
Cotopaxi is an awesome brand with a great mission focused on sustainability and giving back. Their products are well-made, colorful, and built for adventure. The quality holds up well over time, and I love that they use recycled materials. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the durability and ethical focus!

I got a Cotopaxi backpack for study abroad, and I love it so much! I got the Allpa 35L Travel Pack and it was perfect for fitting under the seat on the plane if you don't fill it all the way full. It zips open like a suitcase making it easy to access for travel. I love how colorful the bag is making it fun, and unique so I can always tell which bag is mine. Only downfall is that the colors are a little different in person than the photos posted online, darker coloring in person than online.
I have a Cotapaxi hip pack that was issued as a collaboration with Bombas. The color scheme, the utility level, and the mission statement are all of the highest possible order. I cannot recommend this brand enough.
I think I may be obsessed with Cotopaxi! I love the brand's mission and the quality of their shirts, hats, and jackets are great as well. I've also had a chance to visit their store in Utah and it is awesome (definitely recommend checking it out if you're in town).

I have a few things from Cotopaxi and love each one. My small backpack is a great size for the essentials for a day. I've taken it on day hikes, mountain bike rides, mountain biking, skiing, etc. I have a larger pack/duffel that I use for ~week-long trips and it's easy to carry and fits a /lot/ of stuff. Very convenient. Gifted my mom a puffer jacket and it immediately became her favorite thing in her closet. I have borrowed it from her because I love the color combo and it keeps you very warm. Also, the mismatching color combos are always so great. I don't know color theory but they always nail it.

I love my Cotopaxi bag!! It’s so versatile and I use it constantly. I love the wide variety of bag they sell. The only thing I wish they had was the option to pick what colors you wanted instead of it being random

I got a COTOPAXI hip pack as a birthday gift 6 MONTH ago, I was so happy for it since I really wanted one of those. But now Iam so DESAPPOINTED because the bag started tearing the front pocket (it is a new bag!) and COTOPAXI told me I should put a tape (that they provided) on it. Besides being aesthetically ugly, it DID NOT solve the issue. Now they say there is nothing else they can do and it IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!

Colorful designs and sustainable. Perhaps not the most durable.
I love my fanny pack and backpack! I love how colorful they are and how much they can carry.
Recently purchased a hat with a sick design and was super stoked to wear it. When it arrived, i realized it wasn't adjustable, which was a bit odd and annoying as it was a bit tighter than I like, but love the company's mission and most products!
A really great mission-driven company. Everything I've owned from Cotopaxi has felt really high quality and has stood the test of time. There's a lot of personality and funness in their products. Really stands its own to something like Patagonia and is a great place for outdoor gear!
One of my favorite outdoors brands. I have their technical pack and it's perfect for day hiking or skiing, with lots of straps for carabiners and clipping on gear. It's lasted through 2+ years of fairly rough use with no signs of slowing down. Plus the sustainability focus of the brand is super admirable. Will definitely come back for more gear.
Love this brand's mission and really appreciate the lifetime warranty and repairs. It reminds me a lot of Patagonia or LL Bean (before LL Bean pulled back on their return policy) - but I haven't had to use it yet for the pack I have!
have one of their hiking backpack - durable, lightweight. fun & unique colors!
Such great quality and love the color combos. I've practically lived in my fleece the past few winters and not one tear or hole. My fleece still looks like I just bought it.

Sucha cool brand. Cute one-of-its-kind color schemes and great quality. I own a a fleece pullover jacket and Bataan 3L pack which is the perfect size to take on a hike or the gym. Happy to support this brand and their mission!
So colorful! I am glad now you can pick the colorways because before I did not like being surprised.

Love this brand! I love that they have “Del Dia” options and you get a random color combination. Years ago you were able to choose, but I still like the element of surprise. The quality is awesome and from a design standpoint it really stands out compared to traditional outdoor gear.
Love the values for making ethically designed gear! I have a few things- a fanny pack and a backpack- and I love the mix of colors. If you're picky about colors, best to buy in store so you can take your pick of the color combos that are there. Very durable and well-made, have held up to a lot of adventures so far!
