Cotopaxi is a favorite outdoor brand, praised for its sustainability focus and unique color schemes. Customers love their durable, lightweight, and well-designed bags, especially the Allpa 42L Travel Pack, and their customer service. However, some customers noted rapid wear and tear, especially in the form of flaking design decals and easily damaged or stained material. There were also complaints about the warranty not covering certain issues.

I have a Cotapaxi hip pack that was issued as a collaboration with Bombas. The color scheme, the utility level, and the mission statement are all of the highest possible order. I cannot recommend this brand enough. 

I have their “do good” sticker on my car. If that doesn’t tell you how much I like this brand, then I’m not sure what else to say. 

But for the sake of this review, let’s talk product! We have a wide range of items from here, from water bottles to backpacks to hats to clothing! The whole deal. My husband swears by their big travel backpacks. He takes them on our international flights and have loved every second with it. It fits so much clothing, is about a size of a carryon, but since it’s a backpack, it looks like a personal item… meaning you get away with not worrying about weather a budget airline will make you check it in. It’s also in great shape after multiple flights. Great brand overall.

Such great quality and love the color combos. I've practically lived in my fleece the past few winters and not one tear or hole. My fleece still looks like I just bought it.

I used the Cotopaxi  Allpa 42L Travel Pack as my only bag to backpack around Europe for 3 months and it was absolutely perfect. I love all the pockets and how it folds open. It was small enough to be a carry-on but big enough to fit everything I needed.

In addition to owning several Cotopaxi products including several of their bags and fleeces, I used to work at a retail store that carried them. I consistently found that people would return them because they would get damaged (such as rips / tears or snags) or be hard to clean (easily showing stains / marks) or would just look worn out quickly. I found similar issues for the products I owned. While I think Cotopaxi makes eye catching, interesting products, I don't think they're very good quality and I don't think they're worth the money.

Love the values for making ethically designed gear! I have a few things- a fanny pack and a backpack- and I love the mix of colors. If you're picky about colors, best to buy in store so you can take your pick of the color combos that are there. Very durable and well-made, have held up to a lot of adventures so far!

I have the Allpa Travel Pack, Fuego Down Jacket, as well as a pair of leggings and t-shirt from Cotopaxi. The Allpa is great because it essentially has built in zip organizers which is exactly what I was looking for, without having to use separate packing cubes. The women's clothing sizing runs slightly on the large or "comfort fit" size, at least compared to brands like Nike. I would say some Cotopaxi items are better in quality than others, I wasn't super impressed with some of the other jacket / vest lines besides Fuego. I have had a couple loose threads across the board, but no other real issues beyond that.
