I was excited for this to work but it just didn't. It was hard to tell if any product was coming off on the mitt, no matter how hard I scrubbed on it.

I didn't expect this to just be a canvas bag--the bar of product also seems useless. I used mine once and do not plan on using it again.

I think the general concept is smart and I love that it’s not messy like other exfoliating scrubs I’ve used. That said, I haven’t noticed a huge difference when using it and I wish the directions were a little more specific on how to use the stone and mitt.

I thought I would really enjoy this product because I grew up using pumice stone on my feet calluses. That stuff really works on tough calluses! I assumed the bar/rock here would be similar, but it’s more similar to a hunk of limestone that you’re supposed to rub on your body and then buff with a hand mitt. Sadly, I had trouble applying the product to my skin and seriously doubt I was ever successful. Further, the hand mitt is really small and difficult to apply any friction with to rub in the product and buff away dead skin. I assume this is because the mitt is square shaped. There’s a reason mitts are usually rounded, like tanning mitts, because that’s the shape that works! Also, the mitt’s hanging loop was very small and I wasn’t able to hang it up to dry, but I think that’s a “me issue”. Overall, my skin didn’t feel any smoother after attempting to use several days a week for about a month. I don’t know if this really fills a hole in the exfoliation market… honestly just stick with the tried and true sugar scrubs or use a one of the many existing and effective silk mitts already available to consumers.

This is a great exfoliator but unfortunately it is too harsh for my sensitive skin and I got a rash from use

Have you ever wanted to scrub your body with a canvas sack? No? Then chelle is not for you. Even if you DO want to scrub your body with a canvas sack, you could do that for $1, not $30 or whatever the full price is for this product. In the world where you could indulge in a lovely scented body scrub for about eight bucks at target, is chelle really just trying to un-fun self care?

My overall experience was just okay. The texture of the product is rather odd. It kind of flaked off in chunks. The pouch that is to be used to exfoliate with the product is not inviting enough to use on your skin. It also doesn't dry well.

I’ve only used the product twice so far, so this review is based on my initial impression. Echoing some of the other reviewers’ comments on the product design. The mitt is loose and the stone is small, so the mitt tends to bunch up or fall of your hand when you’re trying to get product on it. The mitt is also quite large, so I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to try to rub the stone all over the mitt or if it was better to concentrate in one area. At first, I was impressed by what I thought was dead skin being rubbed off, but I haven't experienced that just-exfoliated-smoothness after drying off. So not sure how effective it really is yet, but feel like I’ve had quicker, cheaper, and less ‘labor intensive’ results by dry brushing as my exfoliation method.

I've had dry skin on my legs and ingrown hairs my entire life. Never found a solution until now with Chelle body. Using this product has been a blessing for me. No more dry skin (it rolls right off using the mitt/tablet) and therefore MUCH less ingrown hairs so far! I'm assuming the ingrown leg hairs will become a total thing of the past once I use this product consistently. Love this....

The scrubber is super cool ! it feels like it exfoliates so good

nice canvas scrubby mitt, with gentle exfoliation, but I didn’t find the “exfoliating polish” tablet useful - didn’t seem to make a difference whether I used it or not. Was hard to rub on the mitt and get any product transferred. Cost for the mitt alone was not worth it.

This was okay but I do think the soapy stone thing was making artificial rolled skin flecks which is a bit annoying. It didn't make that much of a difference but I do think my skin was maybe slightly smoother. Those little green Korean scrubbies are much better though. However, I do really appreciate that it’s made from canvas material instead of plastics.

I think this exfoliation kit is great for sensitive skin! It’s true that it’s hard to tell that the stone is actually rubbing off on the mit, but with some elbow grease you will see it on the mit and you can tell it’s there by the slight smell of the oils. I’ve already recommended this to a friend who also has sensitive skin. The instructions are also very clear, so I’m not sure what other reviewers want when it comes to that.

Really beautiful packaging and easy to follow instructions however, it didn’t say how much product I needed to put on the mitt. This was a new way of exfoliating for me so I’m not sure how effective my application was.

I purchased this product through Thingdrop. As someone who has used Korean body scrub mitts before, I found this product extremely overpriced. The mitt is loose and bag-like, making it hard to keep on your hand as you scrub, and I'm convinced the polish does nothing to help with the exfoliation process. I had to scrub the polish onto the mitt just to get the slightest transfer.

I really wanted to like this product because I love body scrub treatments at spas, but I was extremely disappointed. The mitt is just a bag made of canvas material and the stone exfoliator was either too hard or simply crumbled.

The pouch is just a canvas or sack cloth pocket. The scrub itself contains vaseline, which as a massage therapist, I try to avoid. There are healthier things to put on the skin. A good salt scrub works better than this. I find the product completely lacking. If you want a good exfoliation that will soften skin, try mixing salt and coffee grounds. Use as a scrub in the shower. Rinse. Rub baking soda all over. Rinse. And you are done. This can be done twice a week. You won't regret it!

Love the concept, but product fell a bit short. The stone is too small and kept slipping out of my hand and I didn’t feel that it exfoliated as intensely as I was hoping. The packaging is really nice though, and I think with some small tweaks the product would be 5 stars.

Chelle was the best thing to happen to my skin this winter! I love that the materials are eco-friendly, and that the business is women-founded. At first, it took a bit of time to get the stone to crumble onto the mitt, but after the first use I was able to see results and dry skin come off right away! I use this once a week and will never go back to body scrubs.
