Charlotte Tilbury earns largely positive reviews for delivering a luminous, polished look—especially via Pillow Talk lipsticks/liners, Hollywood Flawless Filter, setting spray, and blendable eyeshadows—yet the brand isn’t universally loved. Reviewers praise flattering nude shades, long-wearing liners, and hydrating Magic Cream, while calling out issues like unflattering Pillow Talk for some tones, weak mascaras, powder with an off-putting scent, sticky or heavy skincare textures, leaky wand packaging, and splinter-prone lip liner pencils.

  • The packaging of the product is a mess for the amount that you are paying but it is worth it when you consider the formulation of the product and how flawless it looks. PSA it enhances closed comedones and texture.

  • I bought lip cheat for my wedding make up and it lasts all night. It’s super easy to use and the color is so cute (supersize me). I would recommend this product and look forward to trying additional colors.

  • I love this contour wand and I love the color and the way the product comes out onto the blender. The only downside of these wands is that bacteria grows and collects on them and in the long run I don’t think these types of products are good for my skin.

  • Truly one of the best foundations I’ve ever used. It gives such a flawless finish while still feeling super lightweight on the skin. It blends beautifully, looks natural, and makes my skin look so smooth and healthy without feeling heavy or cakey. I always feel so much more confident when I wear it because it just makes my skin look and feel amazing.

  • I love the Pillow Talk blush because it works well on my tan skin. I first tried my friend's blush when I forgot my makeup bag. The next time I visited Sephora, I bought my own despite the price. I felt like it was well worth the price and quickly became my go-to blush for work. It's glittery without being overwhelming. I purchased the flawless setting spray after I finished my MAC fix+ setting spray. I read reviews that it was long-lasting and prevented makeup transfer on face masks. I do like the setting spray, but I would disagree that it does not stop my makeup from transferring to my facemask (which I wear at work every day); however it's still better than MAC setting spray in this regard.

  • love this highlighter and blush duo - beautiful colors and blending. the sponge tip applicator is lovely to use, but sometimes too much comes out and the packaging becomes a little leaky. lasts a long time.

  • I have and like the pillow talk lip set. I recently tried the mascara and it was a miss for me. The brand overall is great and innovative. I’m not a huge makeup girlie but I do think I would repurchase the lippie

  • Not a huge fan of the texture. It’s milky and a bit sticky, and it kind of just sits on top of your skin. It also has kind of an odd scent. It’s not overwhelming and not overly bothersome, but I would prefer not to smell it as it sits on my face. I do like that it contains vit C and niacinamide, but the texture is too heavy for acne prone skin. It caused a major breakout for me

  • I tried their Pillow Talk lipstick and I was not impressed. It looked chalky on my lips and was not flattering on my naturally light pink lips. Also, it is not very flattering for fair to light skin tones (makes me look dead).

  • I've tried lipsticks and eye shadows by Charlotte Tilbury and none of them really speak to me. I was gifted them by a family member and they're in the bottom of my makeup bin. I just don't reach for them vs other brands. I want to love Charlotte Tilbury, but I haven't found the product for me yet!

  • Most products are great and very consistent with their performance. They all focus on that Hollywood blurred glow, which I love. My main issue is with the hard wood of the packaging of the lip liners, making it harder to sharpen and difficult to use up.

  • The entire product line is very luxurious and has a very glam feel. The formula on the products is good, but they should also focus on their packaging. For the lip liners, the wood is too chunky and makes it hard to sharpen and therefore use until the very end.

  • Amazing highlighter been using it daily for over a year. Gives just enough highlight without being overbearing. Will be keeping this in my routine for years to come. Perfect addition to your makeup bag.

  • For the Charlotte Tilbury product I have tried, I was actually somewhat disappointed. I'm usually someone who prefers non luxury makeup brands/drugstore makeup/anything on the cheaper side as long as it works! I decided to splurge a little and try the Exagger-Eyes mascara, in hopes it would volumize in a way other mascaras I've tried haven't. However, I found it to be incredibly standard, and honestly work worse than some of my other mascaras. Due to the price point of the product, I was very disappointed.

  • Charlotte Tilbury is such great quality! I wore almost exclusively charlotte tilbury for my makeup on my wedding day and I still use many of the products. The Hollywood Flawless filter is a gamechanger for someone who doesn't need much coverage.

  • I love Charlotte Tilbury products in general. They’re really high quality and leave your skin looking amazing. They last all day and their skin care is amazing. I’m currently using one of their foundations that’s made with daikon radish to leave your skin looking amazing even after you take it off. My only issue is I can’t find a lot of their foundations in my shade.

  • I own a bunch of Charlotte Tilbury products and have always thought they were excellent purchases. Their make up is super high quality and always gets the job done. My only complaint is that the things I want are often sold out when I go to Ulta. Also their setting spray is the best I've ever tried, no exaggeration.

  • These are great products for professional working 20 and 30 something and above. I would recommend for those reasons because of the universal shades offered. Traditional colours. As s redhead, I recommend.

  • Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk products truly live up to the hype. The shades are universally flattering and give that soft, effortless “your lips but better” look. I’ve used the lipstick, lip liner, and blush, and they all work beautifully together for a polished, natural glow. The formulas are smooth, blendable, and feel luxe without being over-the-top. It’s one of the few beauty lines where I’ve repurchased multiple times—Pillow Talk has definitely earned a permanent spot in my makeup routine.

  • I have only tried a few products from Charlotte Tilbury but have loved them all and will continue to try more. I used to have an eyeshadow palette that went on so easily and blended amazingly well. It was a neutral, four color palette that I used up. I have also loved the matte lipstick and the collection of lip liners. They go on so easily and the color options are perfect for every option, and last all day.
