Bath & Body Works polarizes in reviews: the brand delivers abundant, seasonally-driven scents—standouts include Mahogany Teakwood, Eucalyptus Mint, Winter Candy Apple, A Thousand Wishes, and rich three‑wick candles—but scent longevity on body care is short and many fragrances read overpowering. While candles, aromatherapy, and giftable assortments please loyalists, critics flag harsh ingredients, migraines, and inconsistent quality, making the brand a hit‑or‑miss buy depending on scent sensitivity and priorities.

I enjoy bath and body works for its nostalgia factor- I have great memories of shopping there with friends in the mall and smelling everything, and love their sales. But the scents are pretty mediocre and same for the product quality

The fragrance is so light and refreshing, perfect for everyday wear. What I love most is how long-lasting it is—no need to keep reapplying all day. If you’re into floral, sunny scents that aren’t too overpowering, this one is a must-try. 🌻

I am not the biggest fan of bath and body works but that has nothing to do with their products or quality. I am more of a clean product type girl (when possible). BBW always has a great selection, and amazing sales. I shop here often for gifts for others. When I shop for myself I typically stick to their aromatherapy line, which I give a 5/5

I am a regular shopper at Bath and Bodyworks. I am in one of their storeds either in person or online at least every two weeks. I always have Bath and BodyWorks' hand soaps in my restroom. It is the only hand soap that we use at our home. I also am impressed by the concentrated room sprays. Yes the room sprays come in just a couple ounces but they last forever. Just 1-2 sprays lasts forever. Some of the room sprays can be overwhelming in scent if used in small spaces though. I possibly have too many body sprays from Bath and Bodyworks. Yes, the body sprays smell that good. I prefer the various Coconut based body sprays and mists. I also use the body lotions and shower gels. The shimmering sprays and lotions are the best. Just the right amount of 'shimmer' on the skin! It doesn't look like a glitter bomb exploded thankfully. It only shows up wherever applied as if a fairy sprinkled a little pixie dust and some landed on you. My daughter and I have many of the shower gels that lather up well and smell amazing. My husband enjoys the body sprays and has his own small collection on our dresser. I am not a fan of the wall fragrances for their plug ins due to the scent being too subtle with no staying power. Most recently I bought and tried the new SPF 50 sunscreen lotion in Pink Pineapple Sunrise. It smells good but it feels icky on the skin. It is too thick and doesn't absorb well in my opinion. I could go on and on about all the Bath and Bodyworks' products that make my life more pleasant. Myself and my family and friends are definitely going to continue buying their products for ourselves and as the perfect gift for one another . Lastly, I am grateful that their app is easy to use and the rewards program is better than other retailers.

I love the aromatherapy line! I got them for Christmas last year and still use them when I want to have an at home spa day

The beard and scruff cream is so soft and lightweight. It gets absorbed into the beard and skin easily. It nourishes the skin and leaves the beard soft. It also has a great fragrance. It not overpowering and harsh. Its subtle and delightful fragrance with shea butter. It doesn’t stay for a long time though. Need to reapply more often.

Buyer beware Bath & body Works are running an online scam. You order items they canceled it, but they charge your card are form of payment and never returned the money. It’s a baith switch. I will never ever buy anything from Bath and body and I try to let the Public know please beware they have people that barely speak English. I don’t know if they’re out of the country or what but this is the most difficult sale I’ve ever made in my life Bath & body Works is trash. And their customer service incompetent.
I like their reward system because I get free items. However they aren’t the cleanest products so I decided to stop buying the brand and use up what I have. I think there are better for you brands out there that are around rhe same price

Love Bath & Bodyworks! I purchase a lot for my daughter. Especially for Christmas & birthdays. But she does have certain scents that she has year round. They have excellent sales. I still am using the Christmas scents in February! Love them! I feel like they have great & competitive pricing & you get quite a bit for your money. Their Black Friday was amazing! Lots of new products to try & their candles smell so good & plugins are adorable! Love their themes & the fact that our home smells so good!
A hit & miss with their products. Love the smell of the body care range but it does not last a long time. Have been a long use of the three wick candles too, but frankly have been looking out for cleaner, non toxic alternatives now. Still like their wellness range, smells great. But all in all, nothing great.
Quality for their products has gone down SEVERELY and the prices for them now are insane. The only reason I go now is for cute sanitizer holders and candle holders. Other than that, I pass up the store a lot more frequently now.

While I love their winter candy apple scent, I try to stay far away from this brand. I am just not a fan of their ingredients and toxicity.

Cheap overrated scents that will overpower any space. Why buy 10 of them when you can purchase one quality scent? Just tacky! The washes cause ph imbalances in women, the candles give off toxic fumes.
Bath and Body Works is the go-to place for affordable home and body scents. However, I wish that they took in mind their ingredients. I would shop there more, but I am just concerned about the complex ingredient lists and synthetic fragrances. I have a couple candles and they smell lovely, but I won't be shopping there frequently.
Eucalyptus mint is very relaxing! I wish it was slightly cheaper, but I'd buy it again!
i’m obsessed with their candles especially the Mahogany Teakwood (it smells like Abercrombie and Fitch), they have gift sets which is perfect especially for Christmas. I also love their hand sanitizer but i’m not 100% sure that it kills bacterias.
I’ve been a long time customer. Every new season I’m right in there purchasing my favourite seasonal scents. Although I have avoided going for about a year now, I don’t know what changed but all of a sudden anytime I lit a b&bw candle, it gave me an instant migraine. Plus, the last few times I did go-3 different locations, the customer service was not great. 9/10 they are friendly and helpful, but I deffinitly got some weird vibes, which also turned me from wanting to return.
They always have the cutest designed things. Air freshener plug ins hand sanitizer holders etc etc & so many to choose from. Alot of their stuff smells really good but a lot doesn't. They are way too pricey for such basic products though, have to catch a good sale otherwise I don't buy from there often.
The scents of the body products don’t last long but there’s a variety of scents and products. The candles make great gifts.
