Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

As a gluten free girly… I love me some gf pizza. I tried the banza one and was super impressed. It’s a pretty small pizza but it was perfect for two people!

Is this the most delicious pasta? No. Is it healthy and also great tasting and my 9mo old baby loves it? Yes! I am a longtime Banza fan and will always be. It's so easy to sneak in some healthy calories in an otherwise non-nutritious meal. I wouldn't use it for an authentic cacio e pepe dinner with my husband, but I always have some on hand for my nutritious plant-based lunches and an easy baby meal.

None, love this brand.

Banza is mostly a hit in my family. My toddler likes Banza just as much as regular pasta. I love their design and the variety of products, but I wish it were just a little more comparable to regular pasta in price.

Great alternative for those who can't eat regular Gluten but be prepared to lather this up with lots of sauce and seasoning. Bland tasting alone.

As someone who can eat gluten, I will never subject myself to the gummy texture of this again

Banza is one of the better alternatives to pasta - as someone who is NCGS (non-celiac gluten sensitive) this pasta is the better alternative to gluten-free options. I really like the extra protein it adds to a meal to, as someone who weight trains. I think there is a definite aftertaste, but for the most part, with sauce, you can barely tell it's chickpea pasta. Definitely recommend.

Love all their products! Some get mushier than others but still good!

If you want to add some extra protein to your normal pasta dishes, Banza is the way to go. Not too different from a regular noodle, just slightly more chewy so keep that in mind.

I think the texture is slightly off. It is a little grainy, but nothing too bad.

As a girl who loves pasta, I am a sell-out for Banza pasta. The fact that Banza uses chickpeas that are a great source of protein and fiber is wonderful for personal health but what chickpeas do for our planet makes Banza the only choice - especially for those who value sustainability.

I'm gluten-free and vegetarian. I've tried tons of pasta and bread substitutes, and this one is high on my list. Many alternatives taste pasty and weird. This one doesn't.
Feedback
I've tried the pastas, and they are all good. I can't speak to the pizza or rice though.

One of the best gluten-free pasta available. It has good flavor and absorbs sauce well. An excellent choice to include in recipes for family members and visitors who cannot have gluten!

Was drawn to Banza pasta strictly because of the packaging initially. I try to eat less pasta in general and this seemed like a good replacement. It definitely does not taste like pasta, but if you get over that mental hump it is a good replacement and sauce vehicle. I have not tried their mac and cheese or pizza--yet!

Not awesome for leftovers, best when eaten right after cooking. Less complicated shapes (macaroni, rigatoni) hold together better than rotini and gemelli.

I was looking for a pasta alternative and came across bamza noodles. My whole family loves them, even the kids!

I think this is a great product. My family has celiac and this is a great pasta replacement that has protein as well!

It’s pricy but I don’t know if they can afford to bring down the price because of their profit margin

Recently bought the Banza pasta. Not sure if I cooked it wrong or if it is the natural texture of the pasta, but it was not chewy after cooking.

i LOVE their pasta. i honestly can’t tell the difference from regular pasta and i love how i can avoid gluten while gaining more protein in my meal.

I’ve yet to try the pastas, but the frozen pizzas are soooo good. We enjoy the Margherita and the regular cheese.

My family loves the pasta. Not a fan of the rice though.

Easy way to get your protein in if you love pizza!

I have had Banza pasta several times and each dish was great! There is no overpowering flavors and the pasta is al dente and never gummy. Holds up to all sauces and the added benefits of fiber and protein keep me going for hours without a carb crash!
