Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Doesn't taste like pasta and the texture leaves something to be desired, but I appreciate an easy, healthy option anytime.

REALLY GOOD, YOU WOULDNT NOTICE ITS NOT ONE OF THE BRANDS PEOPLE USUALLY GET BUT HEALTHY. SO ITS A WIN WIN.

Totally serviceable! I like it for daytime snacking, when I have a craving for plain pasta with parm. Keep a close eye on the cook time, and don’t get too crazy with handling it after cooking it’s more on the fragile side than regular pasta.

I cannot rate this product because I have never had this product before so it would not be fair.

I think banza is a great gf option for pasta. It holds the flavor of sauce really well and I often can't tell that it's not gluten. The only downside is that I do still find a bit of tummy irritation when I eat it which may be due to an ingredient they use. Who knows!

This pasta is decent, as long as you aren’t expecting it to taste like regular white flour pasta. There is definitely a different flavor to these noodles that will be more or less noticeable depending on what type of sauce or toppings you choose. I’ve tried a lot of alternative pasta products and while these garbanzo bean pastas are definitely edible, I find the pastas contains a combo of garbanzo bean with red lentil to be much more palatable(I’m not sure what brand this was but it was very good). Banza pasta is definitely a better choice nutritionally wise than standard pasta. I would recommend banza pastas to anyone trying to eat healthier or with gluten intolerance. I find this brand enjoyable to eat especially with sauce, sometimes I can’t even tell it’s garbanzo pasta :)

I've tried the Banza pasta & am a fan of the shell shape. They hold up well vs. other gluten-free pasta options. They don't get gloopy, which I really appreciate. Nice little hit of protein too!

My wife cooked pasta using Banza pasta noodles, and I had zero idea it was sourced from chickpeas. The flavor and texture of the cooked noodles are delicious. They offer an assortment of pasta, rice, and more in colorful boxes that can be found at nearly any major grocery store. We highly recommend this brand!

A good alternative to regular pasta and partners well with a variety of sauces. The consistency is more chewy (slightly chalky) but some experimenting with cooking methods/times helps. I prefer cooking it in the sauce.

Banza is an overall solid brand for people choosing to shift over to a plant based diet. When I first started using their products, it helped curb my cravings for regular pastas (which tend to spike my blood sugar). Overall solid choice. The only pro I have is that it has xanthan gum which is a perservative/additive that I want to avoid.

I love the taste of this pasta and the fact that it has protein. I am gluten free and good gluten free healthy pasta is hard to find.

Banza pasta has to be one of the best alternatives on the market for a healthy pasta, that is absolutely packed with protein! This pasta is a must have in your pantry if you are trying to keep that protien intake up!

I love Banza pasta. The texture is similar to regular noodles. The taste by themselves isn't the greatest, however their ability to blend with the sauce makes up for it. They are however pretty high in carbs.

If you suffer from bloating after eating traditional pasta, let me tell you something, the best alternative that I could find is Banza. It's rich in fiber and makes me feel satisfied and without guilt. For the people that are indecisive because of the taste, tastes just like pasta, just put on your favorite sauce and you will not notice any difference.

The Banza mac and cheese is SO good! I made it for dinner and didn't even tell my friends it was allergy friendly- nobody noticed!

Finally a quality and healthy gluten free pasta option!

Truly an awesome alternative for those that need a gluten free pasta option. Although beware of overcooking, just like with any pasta! Once overcooked it becomes an almost refried bean consistency (because of the chickpeas). Overall I highly recommend!

My family is vegan and we are always trying to sneak a little extra protein into my two kids. We love that Banza doesn’t get gluggy like some alternative pastas do. The cook time is a little different and it doesn’t taste just like regular wheat pasta but we like it well enough, just make sure to follow the cook time which also differs slightly.

I used this to make protein pasta and it was perfect. It is so light on my stomach. Perfect for meal planning.

Made the spaghetti noodles with garlic sauce and mussels. It was delicious. Only difference was the texture was slightly denser feeling. Other than that I couldn’t tell the difference and neither could my two boys which makes this a keeper!
