Reviews mention

  • Protein-rich pasta alternative
  • Surprisingly authentic texture
  • Flavorful frozen pizzas
  • Kid-approved crowdpleasers
  • Inconsistent noodle integrity
  • Sticky, mushy overcooking risk
  • Noticeable chickpea aftertaste
  • Clumpy long-cut spaghetti

Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

  • So my kids really picky he's autistic and he's sensory sensitive so he loves Mac and Cheese he loves the originals and for the most part he started to eat this one but in the long run he didn't end up liking it too much and could tell when I made it again. It tastes good to me but for him you could tell he wasn't exactly into it unfortunately and he's the one to impress with the mac and cheese not me LOL

  • Best brand of pasta! Only thing I would change is I wish they would use organic

  • I love all the Banza products I have tried! The best news is my 8 year old does too! I have switched all my pasta meals to Banza and she can't tell the difference.

  • Not bad for a pasta alternative! Tastes pretty close to the real deal but has the extra benefits of protein and vegetables. I love using this with impossible meat for a vegetarian meal.

  • Banza is a great pasta alternative

  • Banza has been a game-changer for our family! Sneaking in fiber and protein into my kids' diets has never been easier. Not only is it nutritious, but it's also incredibly delicious and versatile for cooking, making it the perfect solution for quick weeknight meals. Whether it's a pasta dish or a hearty salad, Banza has become our go-to choice. Highly recommend it to all busy parents looking to add nutrition without sacrificing taste!

  • I eat pasta way too often so this has been a saving grace for a healthier alternative. Unlike other veg-based pastas, this holds together when boiled. Can add any sauce and it's virtually the same as a regular pasta. Love love!

  • as someone who prioritizes protein for weight lifting, banza is my go to when it comes to high protein pasta alternatives. it is so versatile and the mac and cheese is an easy high protein meal when paired with a protein. recommend for all who want a substitute that is very similar to normal pasta!

  • Tastes good, cooks easily. Doesn’t have a gummy texture like other replacement pastas.

  • They just had a BOGO on this at Publix so, I loaded up! Most "Alternative" pasta is pretty awful. It takes longer to cook. It can be thick and sticky. It can taste like boiled cardboard. If you are on a High Protein Diet or just need to replace meat of any kind, this is not a bad choice. Anything made from Chickpeas has the fiber and the protein you are looking for and it tastes great. Definitely, put this on your TRY LIST.

  • Love this - hard to tell it's made of chickpeas.

  • Love Banza for a quick and easy meal. Tastes great. Only issue is it does tend to clump together after being in the fridge. Banza pizza is delicious, the crust is so good.

  • The pasta is so good! The pizza crust is just ok. I like that I can get extra protein in and it's a great gluten free alternative.

  • amazing texture and taste!!! my favorite pasta substitue.

  • Love the taste of Banza! I typically use Banza when I’m not having other protein in my pasta dish (chicken, meatballs, etc.). One thing is though that the water foams a lot with the pasta - need to keep an eye on that so it doesn’t overflow the pot

  • I primarily eat a vegan diet and love pasta so if I can get some protein in my pasta I had to try. I loved it! Texture is just like flour based pasta and taste was better in my opinion. I gave it a 4 because my partner did not like the texture as much.

  • Absolutely love this grain alternative pasta. It’s filling and full of protein and fiber.

  • Being gluten free is really limiting to what kinds of pasta I can eat, that actually taste good. Banza not only comes in the most variety of shapes of gf pasta but also is a much better alternative to others in the market. Full of protein and great flavor, I’m so glad I discovered Banza!

  • I love banza products. It taste good and it’s a healthier alternative.
