Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

I've wholeheartedly embraced the Banza brand, having indulged in both their Margherita Pizza and Mac & Cheese — each earns a resounding 10/10 from me. As a weightlifter, maintaining a high protein diet is crucial, especially when it comes to balancing my macros. Banza hits the mark perfectly by offering high-protein alternatives that don't skimp on flavor. These products have been a revelation for managing my complex carb cravings without any associated guilt. As someone committed to a stringent dietary regimen, finding food options that cater to my nutritional needs and satisfy my taste buds is rare. Banza does just that, making it a brand I can recommend with confidence to others in the fitness community or anyone looking to enrich their diet with tasty, protein-rich alternatives.

Banza is a solid option for when you’re craving pasta sans the gluten plus the protein. It holds together well in sauces and has a somewhat similar texture to pasta.

I honestly wanted to love this, but it was disgusting

If you’re gluten free or not, this pasta slaaaaps - love the fact that it’s packed full of protein too; it’s pasta that you can feel good about eating and feel good after eating it! Buh-bye carb crashes! Goes great with a variety of sauces, quick to prepare even for me - a non-cooking girlie😅 Was a little skeptical at first about the potential for a weird texture but I thoroughly enjoy and find myself reaching for Banza time and time again while in the pasta section!

As someone with celiac who needs to be gluten free, it can be hard to find great pasta. My whole family loves Banza and I always keep a few boxes in my pantry. I would highly recommend Banza pasta!!

Overall good concept and a lot of people I know enjoy it however- I’m just an old fashioned pasta girly at heart and prefer the regular kind to chickpea! Texture is a bit gummy!

I LOVE banza pasta! It is high-protein, filling and the texture really resembles real pasta. I would say the only difference is a slightly nuttier taste compared to a traditional pasta. Overall, highly recommend for a high protein, chick pea pasta swap!

The pasta is a nice alternative to regular pasta plus the protein! A good olive oil sauce and lots of veggies help beef it up. Definitely add your favorite herbs too!

We're huge Banza pasta fans at my place! It's a total win for pumping up the protein in meals, like hot bakes or chill pasta salads. I get to use a smidge of meat just for kicks and make our beloved dishes way less greasy—think a mere pound of ground chuck in a huge pot of pasta e fagioli. Sure, nailing that al dente vibe takes a second to get the hang of when it comes to Banza, but once you're there, it's a breeze. And the kicker? It legit tastes just like the regular stuff—not a hint of corn or quinoa or anything. Loving that it’s not just us; others are on the Banza train too!

I love the texture of the pasta honestly it feels like im able to get a perfect Al dente no matter how much i cook it ! The only thing is the gluten from pasta comes of and gets everywhere when you boil it

Made dinner for family. Everyone at the table said that they didn’t like the noodles much, I personally thought they were a gummy grainy texture but taste wasn’t too bad. In a pinch I would eat them again.

This brand is amazing, if you’re looking for gluten free and higher protein pasta this is the one! Tastes amazing and just like regular pasta once you put your toppings of choice on top. If you cook it for too long it will tear apart when you start mixing so i would definitely recommend cooking it for the recommended time.

I always have a box of Banza in my pantry. I love the Cavatappi shape, such a unique shape that you don't see too often in the grocery stores. With any non- gluten pasta you always have to be careful not to overcook, as it tends to turn mushy, but if you're good at timing it, it's really delicious. It has a nice fluffiness to it that a lot of other gluten-free pastas lack and I love that has a good amount of protein in it. I always recommend Banza to my celiac friends.

Banza pasta tastes like chickpeas. If you like chickpeas (hummus) its amazing and very versatile. It's my go to pasta when I make vodka sauce. That being said, if you don't like chickpeas you will not like this pasta.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this pasta and has recommended it to others. I love it for my plant based diet and I have given to my son who is on the spectrum and has texture issues and he ate the pasta and their Mac and cheese with no issues. I have tried other chickpea pasta and did not like them. This is the only brand I will purchase

This brand tastes better than the more famous brand I've been using for years. I'm so glad I tried it on a whim.
