Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Was gifted the pizza and absolutely loved it.
I cant get enough of their pastas or pizzas. Truly, my favorite gluten free option for pasta.
Pretty good! I trust this brand when it comes to pasta alternatives and I feel better knowing this option has added benefits. My go-to for vegan Mac n cheese!

It may be an issue with the specific box of pasta my family got but when we ate their pasta, it caused some upset stomachs compared to if we had used normal pasta. I typically don't have any issue with using other foods as gluten substitutes but with this, I happened to have an issue. Might not be for the faint of stomachs if thats something you're worried about.

When we cooked the pasta, there was this sort of slimy aspect to it. I know that pasta gets a bit of coating normally when its boiled but this was much different than that.
Pizza tastes good, like a typical frozen pizza. Doesn’t feel filling however so you will feel hungry soon after eating. Pasta cooks pretty well but very prone to gumming and falling apart.
I think we can all agree that a good-tasting pasta with protein that you can eat without questioning the nutritional value is something the world needs. Banza's pasta is pretty close to that, sure it has a bit of a weird texture and the aftertaste is lurking, but if you cover it in enough sauce you'd never know. As someone who lives largely off of mac and cheese I definitely give this my stamp of "I'd buy again"

1. Improve the texture, I'm all for al dente pasta but this is a bit too much for me. 2. Reduce the aftertaste, it seems to have almost a metallic taste no matter what you cook it in or cover it with.
Banza mac and cheese is my favorite! it's high protein and keeps me full for hours.

More variety in products.
We got the mac and cheese and I think this taste better than regular mac n cheese, a much better flavor. There was more protein and fiber than the regular mac n cheese, i felt better eating it.

the texture got a bit goopy as it stuck together
Banza pasta taste great and has much better macros than traditional pasta. I don't see a reason to buy traditional pasta over this.

I don't really see much. If any, it could be that they could be more widely available.
I love Banza. My husband and I try to consume Banza pasta over regular pasta around half the time to be more mindful about our carb consumption. We're consistently impressed with the taste and texture, and was even more impressed to find that the "pasta water" performs the same as regular pasta water.

My only gripe is that the boxes aren't a full pound of pasta! Throws off a lot of recipes.

Banza is my favorite gluten free pasta to use and is the first I’ve found that holds up to the texture of traditional pastas. The added protein is a bonus!
I've tried the pasta and the pizza and for what it is, it's not bad. It is definitely a healthy alternative so it does not taste exactly like traditional pasta or pizza. You have to be careful about cooking the pasta and I would not eat it just with butter like I might with pasta but with sauce, it is good. Great if you want to eat a larger volume for fewer calories.
I've only tried the pasta and it was solid but I noticed if you cook even a minute too long, it gets mushy so be sure to check your pasta to avoid overcooking!
Taste was good, Couldn't distinguish from regular paste

Expensive! Also you get way less pasta for a greater price compared to regular/generic brand (8 oz vs 16 oz)

I have only tried the pasta but it is really good and a great way to increase protein in a meal. Just be warned that chickpea pasta foams up much more in the pot and will probably boil over.

I got some mac & cheese on sale and it was so tasty! The chickpea texture was definitely something to get used to, but overall very yummy.
the pasta tastes like regular pasta!

Banza pizza is soooo good. I will reach for a banza pizza over a normal frozen pizza any day. The toppings are so delicious
