Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

I prefer the pizza to the pasta. The pasta creates a lot of foam while boiling (which the instructions do warn you about!), but I don’t think I could ever fully substitute my beloved pasta for Banza. I’d rather have whole wheat pasta, and truthfully I don’t love that option either. Maybe if you’re gluten free and this is a necessity, it’s your best bet. But I’m more likely to revisit the frozen pizza.
So good!!

I only ever purchase pasta from Banza. It's healthy and helped me get my protein in
So yummy! I’ve bought them often!
I absolutely love the Banza chickoea pizza crust. It is by far the best gluten free crust you can purchase in store. I only started eating it because there are no toppings on it and needing gluten free and dairy free I have limited options. It is disappointing that they do not have their plant-based cheese pizza in any store within 50 miles of me. I would definetly give that item a try if they did. After going on their website, I realized they have quite a few products that I would try out, but they aren't available near me. I have also eaten their noodles. I find that the noodles get really mushy and easily fall apart. There are definelty better gluten free or healthy noodle options compared to Banza noodles. Their products tend to get pricey in comparison to other brands.
Banza is the only chickpea protein pasta I will buy! It’s full of great flavor and leaves you feeling full.
Been eating banza products for a couple years now. Doesn’t have quite the same taste as real pasta, but it’s as good as it gets for a high protein alternative and I love cooking with their products.
I've tried making their pasta 3 times and each time it didn't work. There was white foam (that's the best way that I can describe it) and the texture was extremely gritty. I followed the instructions on the box exactly, but I don't know what I was doing wrong
I love Banza pastas! I had some for lunch today. There other protein pastas out there that are slightly better in texture, but I will always go back to Banza. I plan on trying their other products as well.
I love making pasta using banza! I go to the gym a lot and getting my protein has been key! Using their pasta makes me feel healthier and helps a lot with macros.
I strongly urge everyone to try Banza pasta as it exceeded all my expectations. As someone who enjoys pasta while also making healthier choices, finding a suitable substitute can be a challenge. However, Banza has an exceptional texture and a delightful, nutty flavor that is highly appealing. Furthermore, being made from chickpeas, it is rich in protein and fiber, which is undoubtedly a significant advantage. I also appreciate that it is gluten-free and vegan-friendly, making it an excellent choice for various dietary restrictions. Overall, I highly recommend giving Banza a chance!

Banza is a great replacement for pasta, kids wouldn't be able to tell the difference and it helps get extra protein in. My only complaint is that it leaves a white foamy residue on my pots that's hard to wash off.
I tried the bonza Mac and cheese and it’s delicious! Most gluten free pasta doesn’t taste good but this one is great!
Pretty tasty but nowhere near as good as the real thing. I personally think the texture is a bit off with this line

Love their pizza crusts! Unlike the cauliflower ones these are more doughy than crisp.
A great way to sneak more protein into your food!

No weird flavors - great option when I want pasta but not all the carbs.

Very innovative products, I’ve been using them for years, I’ve tried their pastas & their rice and have enjoyed both especially the high protein factor

Branding is sick and makes it stand out from the traditional companies you see on grocery shelves. They're disrupting the food chain for sure. I'm giving it a 4 because it's protein packed and works well.

I have come to love Banza - I always have a box of mac & cheese on hand and enjoy the pasta. Overcooking the pasta will ruin it (regular pasta is a bit more forgiving) but I enjoy this product. It is available everywhere and is super convenient as a swap for more protein and fiber.
