Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Being gluten free, I love these! Plus I actually do feel full after eating a normal portion (unlike regular pasta)

LOVE this pasta. Super yummy and easy to make. Such an easy and delicious substitute for a staple food. I stopped buying real pasta after trying this.
It's good! The best chickpea option out there. It looks like real pizza, and that tastes almost like it.

This brand has become a go-to for me with every trip to the supermarket. It's been really cool to see them innovate beyond just pasta - however I stick to it (specifically to make pasta salad with loads of fiber)

Their pasta tastes sooo bad I don't understand how people can eat it. So hard. And tasteless. +1 star for the mission and packaging.
Tasty and delicious 🍕🤤
IMO, you will definitely be able to tell that Banza products are made with chickpeas, but they're still pretty good for people trying to go gluten free! For the pizza, it's a little small compared to other frozen pizzas and I remember the cheese having a hard time melting. The pasta is decent, but also is a little harder. I don't usually like al dente pasta but I especially feel like it's hard for me to get past that stage with Banza pasta without the pasta ending up falling apart.
The idea is great the taste not so much. It was the texture that was a bit off for me. But if texture doesn’t bother you definitely give it a try. I prefer a cauliflower crust better.
Affordable price and great flavor but if overcooked, the noodles can become mushy and don’t have a good taste or texture.

Yum
Great alternative, the texture is definitely different than regular pasta but if you can get over that then it’s a great alternative. It does breakdown, so the experience is also a bit different the regular pasta.
I LOVE Banza; it's such an easy way to get in protein that you otherwise wouldn't get in your diet ! while the pasta is super easy to make, I must mention that I do occasionally get gassy and bloated because of the amount of fiber in the pasta. Overall, I still recommend Banza to those looking for a pasta alternative that has more protein.
Whether you’re going gluten free or looking to add more protein to your diet, Banza is just plain good and tasty either way. Here’s why I like them: 1. SO MANY PASTA OPTIONS I have been a loyal Banza buyer since they first came out. And I am always surprised to see how many different pasta shapes and sizes they offer. For so long I was stuck with boring brown rice shells. Banza has better taste, texture, and health benefits across their pasta line. 2. EVEN THEIR PIZZA IS GOOD I’ve tried their frozen pizza and it is surprisingly good! I’ve never had good luck with gluten free pizza crusts, especially from the freezer section, but I was pleasantly surprised their pizza offered a chewy crust. 3. PROTEIN So many gluten free options out there are just carb bombs or make me feel bloated in other ways. Banza is based on chickpeas and the protein is there. I never feel gross after eating Banza, just full and satisfied.
one of my fav pasta brands for high protein meals. some gluten free alternatives have the wrong texture/can’t be used in recipes that call for pasta water to thicken a sauce but this pasta does it all. good leftover too which is rare for a gf pasta.
As someone who is gluten free, I like their products! I also love that they are high in protein. Beware that it doesn't taste exactly like regular pasta
This pasta is so tasty & packed with protein!

Love the ease of getting in extra protein through these products. The pasta is my favorite.

So goooood!!
My husband and kids absolutely love this brand - we like the pasta, and with a sauce it’s not too strongly flavored, the pizza crusts are also a staple for a quick mid-week meal, but honestly my favorite is the banza “rice” - it’s really an orzo-shaped version of their pastas, but what I like about it is that I can use it to make a gluten free rice pilaf that the whole family will eat (a homemade rice-a-roni). It took a few tries to nail down the right proportions, but I use about 1/2 jasmine rice and 1/2 banza rice, toast it dry in the pan in a little butter, then add 3:1 parts chicken broth and whatever seasoning I feel like for that meal to my rice/banza mix and cook it mostly the same as a rice a roni but turn off the burner and let it carry over cook much earlier. Love it!

Great pasta alternative - their mac&cheese is actually one of my favorites (the white cheddar) I really want to try their pizza and other items!
