Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

I understand this is a great lower carb/higher protein pasta, but I prefer other "protein" pastas to this one. I haven't tried rinsing the pasta after cooking, which I've heard helps the taste, but intend to try that next time I make some. I did use the orzo in a recipe I love and it made my stomach hurt, so it may be just too much fiber for me!
Bonza is the perfect replacement to wheat pastas with great flavor and healthier. I feel full after smaller portions because this pasta is so rich in protein. I'm so happy I found this alternative to conventional pasta!
I love the protein pasta! Its great for me to use after a workout
I love the concept, but I don’t love the ingredients or the fact that they are not organic.
Not good. The pasta tastes grainy & sort of woody/carboardy. Doesn't live up to the hype imo.
I use the rotini pasta on the regular. You can definitely taste the chickpea flavor, so it's best when eaten with a strong sauce, like a pesto or ragu, to cover up that taste and smell.
Amazing pasta alternative for anyone who is looking to remove gluten for dietary restriction reasons, or simply want to have a guilt free pasta night. I love all the options this brand provides!
Banza is great for GF people however, I wouldn't say its a comparable taste to regular pasta or pizza crust. You should go in with the expectation that is going to have a different taste and texture. But a good option!
Banza is perfect for hitting my protein goal. Some pasta shapes are more “real pasta” like than others (I recommend the spirals!)
This is my to go pasta as someone trying to take more protein! Taste is pretty decent!
This is by far the best gluten free pasta on the market. I’m not gluten free, but my girlfriend is so we use this and I now choose to use this instead of regular noodles.
Seen this pasta in the store and I IMMEDIATELY had to buy! It cooks nice and easy, it easily dissolves in your mouth leaving a great taste behind. My family loves these and I dont think they’ll every go back to regular noodles.
Got the roasted veggie pizza from thing drop. There was an issue with the packaging/shipping of the initial product, but someone from their customer service department reached out before I even knew it was an issue, so that was appreciated! The pizza itself was very good! ESPECIALLY for a gluten-free pizza. The crust wasn't as doughy as gluten pizzas, of course, but still very good! I would purchase as a 'healthier' option.

the concept is so cool, and they taste amazing totally recommend
I love banza products! I eat the pasta and pizza crust regularly.
I love banza! Their pasta is a great gluten free alternative to regular pastas, but still taste delicious! I do recommend cooking them a bit longer than what is recommended on the package to get perfect Al dente pasta!
The only pasta I eat. Taste and texture are 🎯
My family wasn’t a fan of these. We are dairy free so we just had this with a basic homemade red sauce but the flavor was so strong you could taste it through the sauce. They might be good for lasagna or a ziti that has more ingredients that can help hide the flavor a bit.

As long as you understand this will not be the same consistency as real pasta, they are good. They are slightly chalky but a good GF alternative.
My daughter wanted to try this brand, overall not too much difference that I could see other than the protein, not a-lot higher there either. Was not bad tho for the price will probably stick to regular
