Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Great pasta with excellent ingredients!!
As a lifelong Mac and cheese addict, Banza has been a game changer. I grew up on Kraft Mac and cheese and as I got older the nutritional value of that comfort food just didn't make sense anymore. I gave Banza a try after having several other pasta alternatives that were pretty disappointing, but Banza hits it out of the park. The pasta cooks well and you can get a nice al dente (you have to cook it several minutes under the recommended time), and their cheese options are solid. I love that it adds so much extra fiber to my diet, and their packaging is eye-catching and cute as hell.
This is a great choice for people like me who need to always have protein with any carbs and it tastes great. It is a great way to add extra protein to your diet
It's a solid pasta alternative. You can still taste the chickpea, but it's healthier. I wish there wasn't any xanthan gum though.

Love all their products! So yummy so healthy!!!
A bit firmer than regular semolina pasta but really can’t tell the difference otherwise! Great for gluten free folks who don’t want to give up the taste of regular pasta — they will barely notice a difference!
Banza noodles are so good! The perfect alternative for when I'm trying to stay away from traditional noodles. Sometimes the Banza rigatoni fall apart while boiling, but either way I love them all the same. To me, they lean more al dente in texture even when fully cooked.
I love this pasta! I am so impressed with how good it tastes. Sometimes I find if it is overcooked even slightly, the noodles will fall apart, especially if it is something like a ziti or penne. Still, it cooks fast and tastes delicious.

This is a great option for people sensitive to gluten! I really enjoyed their penne, and I love the high protein levels in their pasta. It's a great way to keep my diet balanced.
I have always struggled to find a gluten free pasta that I truly enjoyed. When I tried Banza it was so easy for me to stick to a gluten free diet, since pasta is a staple for me.
I like Banza as a higher protein alternative to pasta, but I can’t eat it plain like I do with regular pasta. It needs to have sauce. However, now that Barilla has a protein pasta product, this has fallen to the wayside. The Banza pizza though is AMAZING.
Really wanted to like this pasta after so many good reviews, but the texture and taste were a disappointment. Maybe the packs with flavor or more ingredients is the way to go.

As someone with celiac, I am happy to see more brands curating options that are allergen friendly. Just don’t find the texture as appealing for this brand as it could be. But it’s protein packed, and full of great ingredients.
The pizza! The pasta! It is all great and I love that it is made from chickpeas. The pizzas are a staple in my diet, they taste so good and they are also "good" for you. I also love their packaging and the brand has a fun presence.
Love the macros aspects of this pasta
I love Banza's protein pasta! I'm very picky and it's surprisingly tasty. I make these the same way I make regular pasta and it's delicious. The only difference is that it's healthier and helps me meet my daily protein requirements.
I like the idea of chickpea pasta. My only complaint with Banza is that whenever I cook it, there’s a film that collects at the top of the pasta water. It doesn’t taste at all, but it throws me off a bit
Taste is great. Cannot tell it is different from regular pasta. Much healthier. Even our kids like it.
I love this pasta as an option since I’m gluten free! The pasta has a great taste and it’s my go-to when I’m making pasta at home.
I love the idea of having more GF options in stores for others to try alternatives; however, my Banza pasta just doesn't seem to hold together well, which is rather disappointing when using it as a GF alternative in dishes. It's a tad grainy for me.
