  • Aesthetically, these are hands down the cutest hand and ankle weights out there. They look so cute - not weird at all to wear them out and about. Yes, they were a bit more expensive than other weighted brands, but I felt like it would be worth it. Why I am giving it 3/5 stars- they were incredibly uncomfortable for me. They were too large for my wrists (I do have tiny wrists) and they were painful on my ankles. I'm kind of bony, so that's probably why. I'm glad to see they're comfortable for other people!

  • I coveted these since seeing women wearing them in my Pure Barre classes. I was lucky enough to be gifted two sets of the 2-pound weights by family for my birthday. I chose the tan/nude color and two-sets so I could wear them on my ankles and wrists both in classes and during neighborhood walks. At first, you feel really awkward wearing them and have to adjust your movements to not overcompensate, but within minutes you easily are able to focus on your natural movements while feeling the light additional weight. They are comfortable and being a petite person I was worried they wouldn't fit, but the wrap around velcro is plenty so they are snug. They come in a cute mesh zipper carrying case and are easy to put on and take off. While they are quite expensive compared to other brands, they definitely are the sleekest and most minimal. I try to keep them out of the sun and getting exposed to any chemicals/liquids (like pool water or lotion) so I can preserve the look and their finish as best as possible. They cost a premium, but they are worth it.

  • Unlike the clunky velcro weights, these Bala Bangles actually stay put during Pilates and don't chafe. They're aesthetically pleasing, which makes me more likely to use them consistently.

  • I liked the quality and feel of the ankle weights but after using these for about a week I realized I could have gone heavier so I would make sure you do your research there. Will definitely add to the collection since they're all so sleek looking.
