I have a t-shirt, long sleeve and jacket and all are wonderful long lasting basics. This is a brand for someone that wants heavy duty clothing.

American Giant Reviews
On a friend's recommendation (the assignment: help find a nice, more substantial hoodie that could be worn out) I purchased the classic hoodie and several of t-shirts. All fit a broad-shouldered build well. I really like the hoodie's extra heft -- it's a bit heavy and substantial, so warmer and more solid feeling than a typical hoodie. The downside of that is that you do get a bit hot in some situations, more so than a typical hoodie as well. The t-shirts are solid and part of my rotation now, although not earth-shattering for the price. When I purchased, the website was offering a sale, which made them more attractive.
T-shirts feel a bit pricey at their standard rate; hoodie could advertise a bit more that it's heavier-duty than what consumers may expect.
I bought their sweatshirt! World's best sweatshirt? It was nice! Nothing special. Maybe a tiny bit too warm? I bought it on sale, so that was nice.
What could make a sweatshirt amazing? If you could figure that out, I'd buy one!
The hoodies, what I would consider their flagship item, are very well constructed, super thick, heavy fabric, that would definitely hold up over time.
With it being super thick/heavy fabric, I don't find it to be the most comfortable hoodie I've owned, can feel slightly too rigid.
I'd be curious to try some of their newer apparel that uses lightweight fabrics, but the classic zip up that I bought just always felt stiff. It lasted forever but it was never comfy.
Not worth the hype, tee shirt didn’t wash well hem curled and color did not hold well. Sweatshirt almost the same experience.
The concept was supposed to be good but did hold up to real life.
