This week in tabs: Here's what's new in commerce and culture

This has been a BIG week for collabs.

Starting strong, J.Crew released a holiday collaboration with Ukranian designer Anna October. The collection includes silky dresses, slip skirts, chunky cable-knit sweaters, and more perfect holiday party attire. The partnership is exciting as it embraces size inclusivity in a way that is new for Anna October. When asked about her work, October said, "Usually, I only produce three or four sizes, and J.Crew makes 10 to 12. I didn’t know what my designs would look like on a size 24, and now I’m seeing it and I love it.” Currently adding the sequin slip dress to my Christmas wish list.

On Sunday, Starface teased a collab with Glossier and the internet went crazy. A day later, the "Starface x Glossier Compact" was available for sale on Glossier's website for $19. These hydrocolloid pimple patches pay homage to the original sticker pack that Glossier used to include with every order. The shapes of the pimple patches include cherries, rainbows, the Glossier smiley face, and of course, the iconic Starface stars in pink.

Tower 28 Beauty and Studs have partnered to create a limited-edition holiday gift kit, featuring one reversible stud earring, a highlighter, and a lip jelly. The packaging is cute, and it would be perfect for a last-minute stocking stuffer. Plus it's on sale!

Fly by Jing and Last Crumb have teamed up to create a trio of cookie flavors. Personally, I'm interested in "the Dragon" flavor: French dark chocolate, orange zest, and Fly by Jing's Xtra Spicy Chili Crisp. This would be a slightly terrifying hostess gift to receive if you didn't know that these cookies were spicy.

Happy holidays thingtesters!
