Classic Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Sunscreen

  • Smells terrific and is a very thick lotion a bit of a white cast, but once it’s rubbed in a lot, it works. Sun wise like I’ve still gotten a sunburn while using this product and reapplied, but I’m not 100% sure if that’s the case. Thick enough to feel like you’ve had a decent amount on and can get in the water, but I feel like it comes off fairly quickly in the water and that’s how I burnt.

  • Vacation Classic SPF 50 is the sunscreen that actually makes you excited to apply SPF. The scent is everything — that iconic tropical, coconut-y fragrance that smells like a luxury resort and instantly puts you in vacation mode. The texture is creamy and smooth, not thick or greasy like so many SPFs, and it gives your skin this gorgeous luminous finish that works as a light coverage on its own. No white cast, no heavy residue — just glowy, protected skin that smells incredible all day. Sunscreen has never been this fun.

  • Smells delicious, efficacious, and absorbs well into skin. Does not leave any streaks with a lotion-like texture. Zero burns and leaves a great looking tan.

  • Ive tried a couple of Vacation products over the last year or so and while I can't say these are my official go to sunscreens (mainly because I live in the desert and I go through a LOT of sunscreen and I live in canada) but ive purchased the Classic Lotion, Chardonnay Oil & Orange Gelee on vacation (hehe) and what sticks with me is really the feeling and smell. No other suncreen Ive found will leave you feeling and smelling so glamorous and glowy. I'm saving the orange gelee for special occasions because it gives me such a beautiful shimmery glow. And the classic lotion has an intoxicatingly summertime smell.

  • I'm biased because I am their creative producer but I love the scents and quality of vacation so much. My favorite SPF, my favorite summertime host gift. I'll always admire their nostalgic summer scents.

  • The classic smells so good. It’s exactly as it is described, classic spf nostalgia scent. Not too heavy or hard to apply, meaning no crazy white cast. Nice pool bag treat and comes in lots of sizes for different needs!

  • Vacation is my new favorite brand of sunscreen! I also love their updated packaging, which is sort of like a matte feel. All of their products smell amazing, too. In addition to the sunscreen, the aloe gel also smells great and is really soothing. My one criticism might be of the classic whip, which runs out pretty fast.

  • I've tried the Classic Lotion, Chardonnay oil, face spray, and baby oil. I also have the sunscreen stick. I really enjoy the pure nostalgia smell of the classic lotion. It's a little on the thicker side and takes a while to rub in, but I feel that like helps make sure you have good coverage. The Chardonnay oil and baby oil are quick to put on and don't seem to leave nasty residue on clothes. I prefer the smell of the Chardonnay oil to the Baby oil. Both leave your skin with a subtle shine, without feeling like a grease ball. I am very careful not to let either make contact with my hair though, as it seems to damage it a little. I think of the four products I've tried, the super spray is just not for me.

  • I brought Vacation sunscreen with me to Mexico, and it honestly felt like part of the whole vibe. Every time I put it on. Whether before snorkeling in Cozumel or lounging under a palapa in Sayulita the scent instantly took me back to childhood summers: coconut, banana, a hint of pool water. It protected my skin all day without feeling heavy or sticky, and I actually looked forward to reapplying it. It was like sunscreen that made the whole trip feel a little more fun, a little more golden.

  • I've gotten a lot of samples of this brand for free at various events. The nostalgic packaging is super cute and the sunscreen is definitely effective as I've never gotten a burn while using it. Wish the ingredients were cleaner though

  • Sunscreen is a YES, perfume is a no. First the positives — the sunscreen is sooo fun. It smells amazing and nostalgic and I love whipping it out of my beach bag. I love how creamy it goes on, and I’m a sucker for unique packaging. It’s a little bit expensive, but I’m excited that I’ve been seeing it in CVS now! A lot more accessible for me to repurchase. Now the perfume – when I sampled it, I initially loved it, but wearing it I feel it’s lacking depth. It has more of a cheap body spray scent to me. This is something I would repurchase, but is fun if you have a sample or travel size.

  • I haven't received my product yet as it's shipping to me in the UK - will update then. But my experience with the brand so far is exquisite. I just love the 80s branding and how fully they have committed to it. I got an email that looks like a fax! The website was easy to navigate and the prices seem pretty good. I'm really excited to try the sunscreen.

  • There’s lots of fragrance. It smells ok but none the less, the whole beach will know you put sunscreen on. Also, if you sweat with this sunscreen on and it gets in your eyes it burns like a mother. It DOES work well as a skin protectant though.

  • The Classic Spray somehow manages to be both nostalgic and modern. It evokes childhood beach days but with clean ingredients my adult self appreciates. The continuous spray makes application to hard-to-reach places simple.

  • I’m new to this brand as of about a month ago, but so far I am loving it. Also, let's talk about the packaging… 90s nostalgia? Yes. Please. All in all, I will probably be a repeat customer.

  • I purchased the classic lotion and the classic spray. The smell is yummy, and the packaging is cool, but I was really not impressed with the product - it leaves a sticky/tacky coating on the skin, which is very unpleasant to the touch. Sunscreen technology has come a long way, and other brands (even drugstore brands) are much more pleasant to wear and reapply all day.

  • Won't go in the sun without my Vacation SPF. I've only tried the classic lotion thus far, but am so impressed by the smell, the feel, the lack of a cast, and the coverage I get from it while I'd otherwise be cooking away.

  • Love the quality on these and the worked great

  • picked up their sunscreen spray, ironically while on vacation no less. really great smell, alot like banana boat with that coconut and banana smell. good quality where its not to greasy but also not too chalky residue

  • Vacation's Classic Sunscreen SPF 50 offers great protection with a non-greasy formula that absorbs easily. The yummy tropical scent is like a beach vacation in a bottle!! It’s water-resistant, dermatologist-tested, and free from harmful chemicals, making it both effective and enjoyable to use. Perfect for those sunny days!
