I received a Theragun Prime Plus as a gift from my Father for Christmas a couple years ago. I’ve used it a total of 8-12 times. It no longer charges or turns on, not even when plugged in. I understand that it is out of warranty. However, I feel they offered NO solutions or assistance for a nearly $500 Theragun. Just, “it is what it is…Sorry that the battery doesn’t work anymore, we’d love to help you purchase a new one for your health needs”. I inquired about sending it in and paying to have it serviced; purchasing a replacement battery; sending it in for root cause analysis; if there was a an incentive to purchase another one or trade the broken one in? I was told “no” at every turn. I hate to throw it away. It is pristine and could pass for a brand new one. I also think I’ll have to pay to recycle the battery since you’re not supposed to dispose of lithium in the trash. I’m pretty disappointed that a $430+tax & shipping Theragun doesn’t last longer than a couple of years. It hasn’t been on the sidelines of an NFL team. We are talking five or six times a year and it failed. Typically when you pay a premium price you get premium quality and premium service in return. I’d suggest going down to your local Ross, TJ Maxx or Marshall’s and picking one up for $20-$40. It will last about the same amount of time or longer at fraction of the cost. Don’t get caught up in the marketing scheme! Just my experience and my two cents.
