  • I drink a lot of caffeine. Coffee is part of my daily rhythm and honestly a whole personality at this point! But recently, I started looking for something more intentional to bring into my day. When I came across The Qi and saw their tagline, “inner peace in a cup,” I knew I had to try it. The Qi blooming flower teas are unlike anything I have ever tried. Each delicate flower is handpicked, carefully dried, and beautifully packaged. To brew, I simply place a flower into a clear glass cup (or mason jar), pour in hot water, and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Watching the flower slowly release and bloom in water is a surprisingly calming and delightfully joyful experience. There is something really grounding about pausing to witness something so simple and soft. It may be a small micro-ritual, but it has become a meaningful part of my day. As someone used to chasing caffeine highs, this has been a welcome shift. The Qi offers herbal nourishment that taps into the super healing powers of flowers. For me, this nourishment also brings a sense of mindful presence. It is a gentle invitation to slow down, to sit with yourself, and to breathe. It is a quiet pause that allows me to reclaim a moment of calm in the middle of this especially chaotic year. Top Three 1. Shangri-La Rose 2. Royal Chrysanthemum 3. Blue Lotus

  • Really lovely tea. At first I was skeptical because each pack of teabag comes with only one dried flower but it actually taste amazing! I love the rose one especially. It just feels really natural (not like the fake artificial flavouring).

  • Good for the ritual. High quality flowers. The flavor is very light, as someone who is a big tea drinker i prefer stronger flavors. However, i love these for more relaxing (caffeine free), treat yourself type drinking vs my usual big pot of oolong or chrysanthemum that I'll keep refilling. Love to give these away as gifts. If you're looking for bold tea flavors this probably isn't the brand for you. I'd mix this with some other herbal or rock sugar ingredients to make it more along the Chinese herbal tea route.

  • these flower teas are so gorgeous and enjoyable. this is one of those brands i feel really happy about supporting, because from their social content and newsletter, it's obvious the founder really put her heart into crafting this brand and is passionate about its philosophy. i don't think the flavor is particularly exceptional, but nice and subtle. if i were craving a cozy cup of tea, i wouldn't reach for these, but when i want something that feels more special and delicate, it's perfect. rose is my favorite flavor. worth trying if you're a tea lover. i do wish somehow i could get more use out of them... you can refill the cup obviously but i'm usually not drinking more than one cup at a time, and keeping the soggy flower around doesn't seem like the way to go, so i end up tossing it and feel wasteful.
