Reviews mention

  • Luxurious textures and packaging
  • Gentle, effective rice cleansers
  • Hydrating, glow-boosting moisturizers
  • Silky, pore-blurring primer
  • Occasionally heavy, sticky finishes
  • Fragrance irritates sensitive skin
  • Inconsistent sunscreen elegance
  • Mixed, average visible results

Tatcha earns largely positive reviews as a luxurious, effective skincare line, with standouts like The Dewy Skin Cream, The Water Cream, The Rice Wash/Polish, Camellia Cleansing Oil, and The Silk Canvas primer delivering soft, glowy, smooth skin and strong makeup prep. However, reviewers flag weaknesses: some formulas feel heavy or sticky, fragrance irritates sensitive skin, sunscreens and a few moisturizers underwhelm, and results can be average relative to hype.

  • it's overpriced, ingredients aren't that great, way too much alcohol in some products which dries me out and makes me break out

    Feedback

    ingredients list is awful

  • Pricey but luxury and so worth it. I'm obsessed with the rice wash and also the silk cream. The high price tag prevents me from buying the silk cream all the time but my skin feels so nourished when I do have it and also I don't react negatively to it at all! My skin is so beautiful when I'm using the silk cream. I use the rice polish wash every day and night and love it and it's so easy to travel with! (I refill a travel size container of it that I got from a trial kit. The trial kit is also great and lasts at least 2 weeks! Great value to try out their products)

  • Matcha makes some of the best moisturizers in the game- the Water Cream is especially hydrating, cooling, and gentle. Would not recommend their cleansers, however. I find them ineffective and grainy feeling.

  • I have used a lot of their stuff but the primer in the small circular palette is so nice to have! I like a good coverage concealer when I do wear make up and having a blend-able base layer on my skin is essential as I live in the desert and there is literally no humidity in this air.

  • Love the camellia cleansing oil. I always use it if I’ve worn a full face of makeup and it gets everything off. I like that it’s a great first step in a double cleanse, or perfect on its own. The rice polish is such a nice gentle physical exfoliant. Usually I go for chemical exfoliation, but the benefits of rice for your skin convinced me to give this a try. Love how soft my skin feels after I use it.

  • So expensive but so good. Their moisturizing products are top tier

  • Water cream is a must!!! I have combo/oily skin and this gives me balance. Absolutely worth every penny.

  • respectfully, nothing i’ve tried by them has made me happy. their cleanser and moisturizer made my skin break out bad, the putty primer didn’t do anything for my skin but in fact dried it out under my makeup. not sure what i’m missing here! esp for that price point woof

  • Tatcha will change your skin care game. It’s so high quality and it lives up to its promises.

  • Great quality!!! Expensive but well worth the price. They have great small kits with a cleanser and moisturizer

  • I was gifted a Tatcha set for Christmas and I absolutely love it! All of the products are great quality and make my skin feel great.

The price point is a little steep - although I like the products I'm not sure I would purchase for myself

  • Tatcha products work really for my skin. I've loved everything I've tried from the brand from the experience of using it to how it looks on my vanity to how it makes my skin look and feel. Very luxurious.

I get that this is luxury skincare but the prices are too much. I think you can find just as great products for a better price.

  • Some of their products are too scented for my sensitive skin, but i love the rice enzyme powder. They used to have a tinted eye cream that was the BEST product I've ever used and I'm so bummed they discontinued it.

  • I really love all of their face lotions, especially the creamy one in the purple jar. It is perfect for a dry face in the winter!

  • I love the smell of all of their products - it’s so fresh and makes me feel like I’m at a spa with cucumbers on my eyelids. Reasonable price point & good products for combination skin that’s prone to breakouts.

  • I found Tatcha through the Sephora birthday gift when I received a set of 3 - the Rice Wash, the Dewy Skin Cream, and the Liquid Silk Canvas. I enjoyed the Dewy Skin Cream, it was prone to pilling when layered but worn on its own before bed it is cooling and made my skin feel hydrated. My favorite product was the Rice Wash, which became my new favorite cleanser due to how clean but not stripped my face felt after using.

Received a free product from Tatcha
  • I received 2 samples from this brand . The matcha cleanser and the indigo balm. The balm worked like butter but the cleanser burned my skin . Not sure if it was an allergy reaction to an ingredient or if the formula was too strong . I recommend you try before you buy as full size is pricey.

  • I love all of the Tatcha products. They are well made and the packaging is gorgeous. It is definitely a luxurious brand, but it's always great when you catch it on sale, too.
