Takeya

I was on the search for my perfect water bottle and decided to try the Takeya 24 oz water bottle. The bottle was the right size to fit in the drink holder in my car. It was easy to hold, kept water cold, and did not leak. It reminded me of the Hydroflask bottle I had. Taking a drink required me to tip the bottle up and pour into my mouth. I've become very used to the added straw feature in the Owala bottles.

Great quality. Not as easy to clean as a Hydroflask. Super cute color selection!

LOVE TAKEYA!! While many gravitate towards Hydroflask or Stanley, my family has purchased 6 or more bottles from Takeya in the past and all are still in great condition today. They are super high quality, come in cool colors, and are reasonably priced.

I bought the 32 Oz bottle with straw lid as I loved the pastel colors available and the fact that the drinking spout was fully covered when not in use. I also like that it came with a silicone boot to protect the bottom and lessen clanging when setting it down. It's easy to unscrew and the handle felt secure for carrying. However, I was disappointed to receive a dirty one. It had some brownish / gray marks on the bottle itself and on the boot. I tried to clean this but was unable to get it clean. This made me feel that it would easily get grimy. A major thing I didn't like about the bottle is how complicated the inner portion of the lid is. It has a rubber O ring on the inside of the lid and I worried this would make cleaning a hassle or would get stained. As I planned to use this every day and wash it by hand every night, the thought of fiddling with this and spending extra time on it seemed like a drag. Ultimately, I decided to return the bottle. It seemed okay for the price but for something I would be using daily, I wanted something perfect, and this bottle, for me, wasn't it.

Great range of colors and bottle sizes. Got my coworker to also purchase one. We both ran into the same issue after 6+ months of use. The lid started to leak. Thankfully, Takeya sells lids in the same range of colors and for all sizes of bottles so it was easy to replace. Bottles are very durable and easy to carry around. Love taking it to the gym.
